optimus always dies in every cartoon series i've seen A bad habit of his, I suppose... He actually survived through Energon and Cybertron, if I recall correctly. It's about time! Now if only Megatron would stop turning into Galvatron then back again for every series...

Looks like in about a month we'll get another opportunity to see the movie on the BIG, and I mean BIG, screen. Apparently, starting on 9/21, the movie will begin airing in IMAX theaters across the country! ;D Here's the original article: www.superherohype.com/news/topnews.php?id=6220

That awesome that it's going to be in IMAX! I guess I'm going again ;D I can't wait till it comes out on the little screen though, because I'll be able to pause it and see what is happening. There's a lot of things I missed. I'll be glad to slow down the fight sequences to see what's going on. ;D Did anyone else think the special effects were great but everything just went to fast to catch?

I used to be an usher in an IMAX theater. I saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban a good 38 times. I wish I worked there now!

I probably won't go see it again. It was an amazing, epic, and breathtaking movie and all, but whatever extra stuff it will have will most likely be on the Special Features when it comes out on DVD.

At some points, it was a little bit hard on the eyes, difficult to follow. Namely, the duel between Optimus and Bonecrusher. The Bumblebee/Barricade duel in that factory yard had some rough moments too. It was mostly the combination of the CGI with the speed of the image. Regular movement didn't bother me, but the fast-paced jumping and spinning stuff can give a guy a head-ache!
