I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the info! And if for some reason you don't like them, feel free to donate them to the "Defender of New Paradron" fund!

I'll be stopping on my way home after work on Wed to pick up two boosters. I've lined up my nephew to give the game a try with me, so I'll post again after we've given it a try.

I finally found this game at the local Target, and I picked up 2 packs. I have to say I like it more than I thought I would. I'm not going to go as crazy with this game as I am with other games I play.......too many games already, but I can see myself picking up a pack or two every time I head over to Target. Then again, I'll probably go for 2 of each figure, so I don't have to use extra time transforming them as I play.

You could do that, or you could just leave them in robot mode and just lay them down flat to symbolize when they're in vehicle mode. I don't have 2 of each yet (I don't even have 1 of each yet), so this is what we do when we're not in the mood to take the time to transform them.

lets get one thing strait. first off ask someone who plays. like me. the game is so boring. literaly it's rock paper sissors. the only reason to get the cards would be for collectors value like me. the car form is much better than the 2d robot form and thats all i can say for the game

I'm pretty sure he was asking someone who plays. Me. And while the game is simple, I find it an enjoyable way to spend a little bit of spare time. It's a shame that you don't seem as enthused. I think too many people are going into this game, thinking that they'll find something akin to MTG or WOW, but the main gimmick here is the constructibility and the easy to pick up gameplay. It's not meant to blow your mind with over-complicated rules, it's just meant to be a quick, fun game. And in my opinion, it succeeds at this.

Defender,
After playing with the same 5 figures for a week and a half, I have to say that the games are getting a bit stale...So, I have to ask you, who has a full set, does the game improve as you get more figures and you mix teams? Thanks!

Series 2, dubbed the "Energon Wars", has been released already! Definitely under the radar, or mine anyways, but it looks like this set has a good mix of characters from TF history, including Ravage, Prowl, and TM2 Cheetor, just to name a few. You can view all the cards in this new set over at the Wizards site. www.wizards.com/transformers/
