I know Galvatron is tougher..... but I always liked Megatron more. So I can't vote on this. In the new cartoons, I consider Armada Megatron to be Megatron, and Energon Megatron to be Galvatron. I just plain don't care for Cybertron Megs. Megatron wouldn't bother with turning into a car and racing with Overdrive! He'd blast her and call it a day. Meh.

the thing that annoyed me with Armada/Energon/Cybertron is that he always changed his name from megs to galvi, yet when he changed back to megs everyone seemed to know, but he made a big fuss over being "My names galvatron now"
If i was prime in Cybertron and megs had've said that my reply would be "Not again"
seriously he has some split personality issues he needs to deal with. I know hasbro did it so they could repaint the toy but they went around it all wrong.
Imagine the sceen, Christmas comes along. One of his minions he hasn't seen for awhile sends him a card, who's he send it to, megs or galvy (ok i know that would never happen but you get the point.)
At least BW Megs never changed his name (and if you include BM he has 7 or more different bodies) when he changed form, and it was a proper change not just a repaint

I agree. My favorite Megs-to-Galvy moment was in RID. SideBurn is facing off against Galvs and addresses him as Megatron. Galvatron corrects him. SideBurn says something to effect of 'Well whatever you're called, you're still the same jerk.' Funny stuff! I heard RID was gonna be released as a DVD set, but I've seen no such thing. Too bad. I could watch SkyByte for hours.

Yeah, even though RID was the first series to just repaint Megs and call him the Galv. It looks like in the current IDW comics series, Megs and Galvs are going to be two seperate characters, like in the Beast Wars anime! Glee!

There's actually an audio-less Scramble City on the TF:TM 20th Anniversary DVD. It's only got commentary for audio, but it's cool to see.

You know, Optimus is probably the coolest but he could not beat Galvatron (at least not in the current shows). Galvatron was an upgrade to Megatron and Optimus and Megatron were already pretty even in the first place. Galvatron would always beat Optimus unless there is a factor that will turn the tide of their fight, for example someone who would combine with Optimus. There was always someone that Optimus could rely on to help him beat Galvatron because he knew that Galvatron is too much for him to handle (Ultra Magnus in RID, Jetfire in Armada, Omega Supreme in Energon and Leobreaker and Wing Saber in Cybertron).

BTW in Cybertron to beat Galvatron he used Vectror Primes sword
