Hello all, I am new to the boards and my kids and I have recently taken to playing this cool game. I thought I would share the following with sale with everyone. I just ordered my son a case...yes CASE of Marvel Attacktix boosters from a place called www.ccgarmory.com The case is 44% off retail. You get 18 boosters for about $70. (a GREAT deal in my mind). Does anyone know of any other online places to get a good deal like this for the Star Wars line? Thanks!

www.iconusa.com has had boosters in cases for sale before... not sure if they have any deals there or not now but it'd be worth checking.

I just ordered my son a case...yes CASE of Marvel Attacktix boosters... You get 18 boosters for about $70. That's funny, a case is only 6 boosters. Off their retail, maybe, but boosters at full retail average $5, give or take a few cents. A case of 6 at $25 isn't a bad deal, but it's far from 44%... that's aside from the fact that ccgarmory even notes it as 41%. I'm sorry to sound so rude and jaded, but anytime I see a first post full of numbers and a site endorsement, then no other posts at all (one would assume that anyone taking the time to register and make a thread would either have read or go on to read others and find at least one other thing to say), my assumption is that I'm looking at an adbot, and my manners tend to go out the window. My apologies if you aren't one. Stick around, browse the boards, chat it up. I'm generally a lot less of a jerk, but I'm just in a suspicious mood right now.

I think he meant he got three cases although he said he got a case.

I think he meant he got three cases although he said he got a case. I dunno... I'd find it awfully difficult to type "I just ordered my son a case...yes CASE of Marvel Attacktix boosters" when I meant "I just ordered my son three cases...yes CASES of Marvel Attacktix boosters". He even says "The case" when referring to his savings. I could probably buy it if the guy hadn't repeated himself, but the repetition just compounds my doubt. I mean, mere minutes after registering the account, the first and only post the guy makes is a "run, don't walk" style glowing endorsement of an online store? I don't presume to speak for anyone else, but that's nothing I've ever done, and it sure as heck isn't anything I've witnessed from an honest new member at any other board I've been to. I know I'm being pretty wary for no real reason, but it really doesn't add up to me. Again, there's a reasonable possibility that this guy's on the level, but everything in my experience screams "adbot" as loud as can be.

Well, scour stores for good buys, Radars 99 cents a booster is a great example. And if you have to pay shipping, not so great of a deal.

I think Whizkid just might be right. It reads like an ad. Sure would be nice for KKoene to prove WK wrong with a friendly rebuttal. He hasn't posted anything since. And it's really not that good of a deal. Even Target had boosters marked down 50% than 75% which was like $1.24 a booster some months ago.
Sounds like someone trying to unload excess inventory.
But please, be a regular contributor to the board and let us know you were just trying to share what you thought was a good deal.

Hello all, I am not new to the boards and my non-existent kids and I have not so recently taken to playing this cool game. I thought I would share the following with sale with everyone. I just ordered my imaginary son a case...yes CASE of Marvel Attacktix starter sets from a place called TJ Maxx The case is 53% off retail. You get 6 starters for about $30. (a GREAT deal in my mind). Does anyone know of any other online places to get a good deal like this for the Star Wars line? Thanks! Naw, that just doesn't have the same effect coming from me, does it?

You pay $5 at TJ Maxx? They're only $4 at all the ones I've been to. You're getting hosed.

Trust me, 1 extra dollar to sell the excess for 20$ on Ebay? We're not the hosee's, we're the hosers. Hey....wait a minute...... ;D Hello all, I am new to the boards (meaning I am new to SPONSORING THIS BOARD) and my kids (marketing manager) and I have recently taken to playing (selling) this cool game. I thought I would share the following with sale with everyone (because my marketing manager said I should). I just ordered my son (warehouse) a case...yes CASE of Marvel Attacktix boosters from a place called www.ccgarmory.com (which we all know about since it's RIGHT THERE AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN) The case is 44% (41% + the IQ percentile of the authour, 3%) off retail. You get 18 boosters for about $70. (a GREAT deal in my mind if I had one, but I'm just an automaton, so this is not the case). Does anyone know of any other online places to get a good deal like this for the Star Wars line? (In other words, we're so good that we just HAD to say in a condescending way, "Hey, nobody sells 'Tix for less!" hoping nobody would figure out that this is an ad.) Thanks!

Trust me, 1 extra dollar to sell the excess for 20$ on Ebay? We're not the hosee's, we're the hosers. Hey....wait a minute...... ;D I have seen some decent deals pass through ebay. Sadly, I'm not financially stable enough to bid on most of them, but I've been keeping an eye on it. There are, sadly, the people who want $10 for a Marvel booster... plus another $10 shipping. Aside from the fact that the shipping cost is absolutely insane, Marvel boosters are still readily available everywhere I've been to. Very few single figures go for even $5 (Magneto and Captain America being the only exceptions I've seen). I don't want to be or even hear from the guy who paid $20 for the easily-found Punisher and Thing. Maybe in five or six years when the hiatus is over and we're on Marvel series 12 (cross fingers, knock on wood, etc) and someone is just getting into the game... but certainly not now. As for board members selling... I honestly wonder how many board members I've bought from, bid on the auctions of, or just balked at. Probably best we don't know things like this.

Five Below has a ton of the Marvel and TF series 1 boosters for $3. Not quite as good as Radar's 99 Cents (man I wish that I still lived in Houston!), but still a decent deal for stocking up on these figures.

Yeah, I can get them from A.J. Wright for $3.00 as well. Better than the fore mentioned deal.
