THAT would be awesome. Galactus, however, should only be a Mega, never a basic figure. The guy is HUGE!! Hear! Hear! Bring on Megalactus!

Oh man, LOL to the X-Treme. You probably have Galactus confused with Apocalypse, which isn't that difficult. They're both the key "doom bringers" in their series, Fantastic Four and X-Men respectively. They both have their followers, Galactus has his "Heralds" while Apocalypse has his "Horsemen". The main place where they diverge, however, is that Galactus wants to destroy Earth while Apocalypse wants to conquer it. It also helps to remember that Galactus is a giant purple-suited being who flies through space while Apocalypse is a relatively average-sized mutant who keeps his feet relatively firmly on the Earth. Also, I'm not talking about a starter. If they were just making a starter it should contain a Fantastic Four Silver Surfer, Invisible Whatever, Dr. Doom, and a Dr. Doom faction Namor, king of Atlantis. THAT would be awesome. Galactus, however, should only be a Mega, never a basic figure. The guy is HUGE!! I don't know if you could class Namor in with Dr. Doom, I mean I know he has been the bad guy at times but more often then not he's been with the good guys, hasn't he? Another great opportunity here (if anyone at Hasbro is listening) is to make some Doombots as 10 point troopers! (Also Multiple Man, but that's for a different thread)

Well, Namor is one of those characters who is really hard to class as good or bad. All I know is that he has the Doom affiliation in the earlier Vs. System sets and that he hates the Fantastic Four (sometimes...) so that's where I was drawing from when labeling him as a Doom figure. Maybe not the best choice but definitely not THAT crazy.
Super Skrull could easily be put in his place, though. Or a Doombot of some type. Heck, what about Kang the Conqueror? He's teamed up with Doom a few times and could add some awesome time-travel effects to the game.

Galactus is different than Ego in the respect that he doesn't actually CHOMP planets whole, instead he uses machines to break down planets into their core elements and then absorbs them.
Either way, that would be figgityFAT.

Despite Namor's villainous beginnings in the golden-age of comics, he went on to be more often associated with the "good guys." In fact, along with Doctor Strange, Hulk, and the Silver Surfer, he is a founding member of the Defenders.

Ya know, I'm really beginning to wonder about Namor, though. Maybe he was just siding with the lesser of two evils by sticking with the villains - he was a just King with problems, looking for enemies to fight (or create) to solidify his power and garner populsr support through fear of attack, whether real or imagined. Dictators, tyrants, and ..gulp.. other heads of state do this today, yet some are elected with cheers and applause.
He's just misunderstood I suspect.

The FF could be cool as a Mega. All 4 of them in the Fantasticar, which can launch 4 individual attacks. Prodding Mr.Fantastic, maybe a force blastin' Inviso-woman (or Inviso-girl or Mrs. Fantastic or Sue or whatever you want to call her) I don't know what Thing or Johnny would do... maybe Torchy could be a flier. I dunno.

A Fantasticar sounds kinda cool. Maybe Johnny could have a normal missile and Thing could lean out and strike, I don't know.

Galactus isn't a villain per se...in the sense that he isn't really evil...he's more like a cosmic level hurricane or earthquake...a force of nature. In the Marvel U., he exists as a sort of ballast between life and death...it's an interesting paradox really.

I sometimes confused the sentenals in x-man with galactis from F4. On a further note, i think its funny how mrs. incredible and mr. fantasic have the same power.
a mega galatics should be able to "eat" up to three defeated characters and come back if his window is white!

You know what would just be the Bees Knees? If they came out with a fantastic four booster pack that had the typical thing, an invisible woman who shoots force blast, a very long reach Mr. Fantastic, and a human torch that flies off his base and shoots fireballs. And to counter it another Booster pack with a mega Galactus and Silver Surfer that flies off his base. Way better than the ghost rider set but the same idea yeah? Geeze guys I am sure sorry about having another forum. I really appologize for being so rude and can only beg your forgivness in this matter. Best of luck my friends I'll try to be less of a knuckle head HYUK

"On a further note, i think its funny how mrs. incredible and mr. fantasic have the same power. "
Custom idea: take Elastigirl Burger King figure and sand chest down, switch legs, swap head, and paint blue for Mr Fantastic. The rubbery middle might work as the 'spring' for twisting the torso for a long arm striker attack. Posseible arms add to attack possibilities.
Design idea: Invisagirl - molded in clear plastic, articulated but is an effect figure. Has two effects: can't be attacked by launcher strikes (being invisible), and can place a inviso shield anywhere within 14 tix, after opponent moves, but before any attacks. The clear plastic rounded shield is about a fig's height and is on a tix base (to measure range), can be knocked over. She moves maybe 6 tix's and costs about 20-30 points, on a medium base.
