Hmm... I wonder why everyone wants photographic proof?
;D
Just messing with you but, yes, that's why many are requesting photos.

Not sure where those areas are.
Wow! I am not too sure that he is lying. I remember when series 4 first came out. For some reason a few K-marts were actually getting the merch in before anyone else. I unfortunately never had any around here.
Liar? No, probably not. We are due to see these little buggers anytime soon. Not too sure what lying about it would benefit anyways.
What a shame that we as the human race are so quick to think negatively of a situation, just to eat crow later on. ;D

I'm not sure where those areas are either, but since he used the word "Mum" and not "Mom" I wonder if he's in the U.K.... but I don't think there are K-Marts overseas... We went to the closest K-Mart yesterday and no luck with Attacktix, but my daughter scored a new toy at least

Well, attacktixking isn't saying that he IS lying, just that he could be. Let me put it this way. He doesn't have much to lose if he is playing a joke. He doesn't have a big account with lots of posts and cash like you or I, he isn't a respected boardie, and it would be very easy to play this joke and run. That's why I'm requesting photographic proof. Heck, I'd request photographic proof even if it was you, YodaBreaker or someone else who's relatively well-known and respected. A touch of healthy skepticism in someone's claim doesn't mean negativity . I've been taken for a ride too many times (and taken others for rides, April Fool's Checkpoint and that one had PHOTOS!!) to believe everyone's claims on first sight. Oi! I use "mum" all the time and I certainly ain't British (even if I occasionally put on a joking accent . Just ask greyelephant about out recent PMs in setting up an Attacktix sale. He'll vouch for that much. EDIT: Also, a quick search for "Tuggeranong" revealed that it is in Australia. This correlates with earlier reports that some were seen in Aussie by another boardie I can't remember. Consider my stock in this claim rising.

And he is NOT in the UK, had you read his post, as he said he's in Canberra, which is a lovely midsized city in Australia. Check the Sightings threads as well - there is a confirmed sighting already in Australia. Also note the exchange rate: 1.00 AUD = 0.873784 USD which is in our favour, so perhaps the young LizardShocker would be interested in making purchases and shipping them as we, here in the US, seem to have to wait!

ROFL.
One point I'd mention - if you notice on Ebay a lot of the Hong Kong electronics market sells items in AUD (Aussie Dollars) as they are geographically far closer to Australia than here. Perhaps that's why they always get first dibs - it's a transportation cost issue?

Or perhaps just a transportation speed issue. I doubt they fly things over, so it just depends on when the barges arrive in the various locales. Oz is a lot closer to HK than the good ol' USA, so we might start seeing these things pop up in a few weeks (assuming additional overland transport delays).

Ah, but I'd bet a body part that they all come into the port of Los Angeles or Long Beach when coming here. Almost all consumer goods go through those ports nowadays, especially to the big box stores.

Yup, my body part would be put similarly. Though I've no data to support this assumption, I'd assume that we'd get many more shipments from Asia than from Europe, so there'd be much more volume going through the Left Coast than the Right Coast. Houston gets some stuff from south of the border (I believe), but it wouldn't be the toys we all crave How nifty will it be to have our very own copies of the Marvel QSG2?

Oh, so very very very nice.
The problem with going through the south is that mostly agriculture, commodities, and automotive parts come from our southern friends, as well to some degree textiles. Consumer goods from Asia have to take the long haul to port of LA mostly due to terminal capacity and pricing. Most consumer goods, like electronics, asian textiles, and whatnot head through Port of Long Beach for this reason - they have enormous capacity. You may remember a while back the UAE (country, y'all) tried to control administration of one of these terminals, and there was huge public outcry. This was because of the sheer unimaginable volume of goods that come through LA.
There's also the labor unions and the shipping contracts. I won't even get into the sheer power that they wield regarding shipments. If they went on strike we'd all be scrooed blue.
There are others, such as POM (Miami), the Hudson, and Louisiana, but these are generally imports from South America and other off-countries due to the smaller volumes and smaller ships that dock.
The reason I know any of this at all is because I have to schedule shipments and monitor ARO shipments for work ;D I get stuff from Korea, Japan, China, and other garden spots and they ALL seem to have to be routed through Long Beach.
