Just to take a stab at it, I think that Daredevil, Elektra, Hawkeye, Bullseye, Wolverine, SHIELD Grunt will be rares. The other 12 will of course be the SR's. I definitely agree with all of the above except for Wolverine. I personally think that it'll be Human Torch instead. Don't ask me why, just a random feeling since Punisher's inclusion as a Rare despite being a 30-point large missile shooter means anything goes these days. Plus, Avengers already have Hawkeye for their Rare in this set while Fantastic Four hasn't gotten one yet. But Human Torch does have flight, and if he has 6 movement, he's almost guaranteed SR status. Anyway, I hope Hawkeye is a rare, that means he'll be easy to get! I love Hawkeye

Well I also can't wait for Human torch!!! I always loved him when I was little and my dad introduced me to Fantastic 4!
And He has flight!!! (It's like the icing on a cake!) I just hope all the Fantastic 4 together (Mr. Fantastic, The Thing, Human Torch, and Invisible Women) together equal 100 pts. So far it looks as if it will be close to 100. (I think I. Woman will be a 10 pointer)
Series 2 is gonna rock my socks off!

Thing 30pts. Torch 30pts Mr. Fantastic 20pts. (plus he is a leader!) = 80pts.
So if Invisable Woman is a 20pt. fig then yes they will be a 100pt. team, which would be really cool.

O ya Torch is 30 pts!!! I thought he was 40! (wow) after you posted this I went and checked the pics on the 1st page, cause I thought he was 40 pts! lol......
Well then most likely Woman will be 20 pts, unless Hasbro makes a mistake and makes her 30 pts! (Then I will be frustrated......)

Welcome to the board tarcil. It's great to see the Attacktix influence spreading far and wide.
Like megazarak said, we don't have any specific information as of yet but keep checking back here as this is the first place any news will hit.

I just can't help but look at that new hulk and spidey pictures. I am dieing to know the starter set. Whos in it? Will there be more than one set? Whats the point cost of that hulk? When can I sell my dog to try and get the first one? You know the general questions you always ask at the begining of a new series.

Personally, I don't think that Marvel Series 2 will be out for a LONG time (at least if Hasbro is smart). First, Series 1 just came out four months ago and I am absolutely certain there are still people snatching them up. Releasing more now would be dumb if the original is still selling. It'd be like George Lucas releasing Star Wars Episode 8 two weeks after Star Wars Episode 7. Second, they've already got the start of an oversaturated market. With MV1 just out and SW4 and TF2 coming out, does Hasbro really need to sell MV2 at the same time? How many people are actually willing to spend money on three different sets all coming out at once? Third, the smart move would be to stagger releases. Set up a schedule of something like "Transformer set released February, Star Wars released June, Marvel released October". This way people can collect what they want from each set for four months before having to worry about a new one. Releasing all the sets at the same time and then taking another year before another flood doesn't make much sense to me. This is all my own personal thought process. If I was running Hasbro, I wouldn't release Marvel 2 until at LEAST three months after Star Wars 5 and Transformers 2. It makes financial sense and it'll help the collectors like us get everything they want. Everyone wins.

yeah but then why is the spider man tournament set out already thats series 2[/img] *pushes TV game show buzzer* Sorry, but that is incorrect! Do not pass Go! Do not collect $200! Seriously though, take another look at the tournament set if you own it. The numbers list each of the figures as "SM1-4". SM obviously stands for "Spider-Man". You want to know what is listed as SM5-8? The Spider-Man Origins set (the one that has Armored Spidey)! Unless the Spider-Man Origins set is also part of S2 which makes no sense since it came out at the exact same time as S1, then the tournament set is NOT technically part of Marvel Series 2. I'm not ruling out that it could be a precursor to MV2 but saying it is part of Series 2 is very fallacious.

They finish out the remainging figures for the SM1 series from the origins set. SM1 - Spider-man (mega) SM2 - Venom SM3 - Sandman SM4 - New Goblin SM5 - Green Goblin SM6 - Spider-man (web blast - armor) SM7 - Spider-man (web strike) SM8 - Doctor Octopus
