Simply put, post here what you've gotten so far, along with your thoughts about them. Starter Set stuff can go here to.
After six boosters I got:
Rares: Beast x3 Spider-Man Electro Pyro
Super-Rares: Thor x2 Venom Doc Ock Gambit Wolverine
I'll post my thoughts on these after I try them out a bit. As of right now, Thor is a bit hard to use, Wolverine has WAY to short of a prodder, Doc Ock rocks, Venom's going to need some WD-40, Spider-Man is a bit iffy, and Beast is really, really cool.

Sorry for the double post but I just got done playing a few games against myself. Here's my thoughts.
Thor should always, always, always attack his opponent's from the back. Aiming from the front often causes the hammer to hit the target's head. This causes all the force to be absorbed by the figure. If you attack a figure's back, the slope causes the tip of the hammer to hit rather than the whole blunt thing, therefore causing the figure to fall forwards. Also, having a guy run behind someone and then whack them with a giant hammer is just too funny. Oh, and his power is decent.
Second, Venom is not as badly in need of WD-40 as I thought, I just needed to reposition his arm. After moving it up a tick or two, Venom became much easier to use. His power is nice and the figure sculpt is freaking awesome. He's just so huge it's cool. Unfortunately, this makes him a bigger target, but whatever.
Pyro and Electro are simple army builders. Electro is nice but Pyro has a decent power activation and his spring seems quite strong. I'll take back some of my complaints from the previews simply due to the easy aim and strength of spring but I still don't like Pyro much.
Doc Ock is much better than I expected. He has a near awe-inspiring spring, his strike is much easier to use than I thought, and he has a good power (in theory, I don't have any Spidey or Marvel Knights figures yet). His one downside is the fact that his strike is unadjustable so you can't adjust your aim at all.
Avengers Spider-Man is good but not great. He seems to fall easily, his strike takes some getting used to, and his power has a 15% chance of activating. However, my fears of a breakable webbing tip were averted once I got the figure. The webbing on his hand is very thick, about the same as any other figure's wrist. He also has the upside of having a near solid arm to strike with causing me to believe he could, in fact, be the least breakable striker ever.
Finally, the X-Men are easily my favorite figures and here's why.
Gambit has a very, very nice spring, has a 38% chance of Rescue-ing, and is a mere 30 points. A nice way to start the X-Men's shooter forces.
Wolverine was a bit of a let down. His prodding claws don't extend more than half an inch, possibly 3/4. This makes it very hard to get consistent knockdowns unless you aim for the head. Even this is a problem since his hand is so huge that a figure will sometimes catch on his fist and not fall. However, his Recovery power has a 46% chance of activating and his Rage special is very nice.
The absolute best figure I got, however, is Beast. To put it simply, he is his namesake. First, he's very low to the ground which increases his defense. His strike is incredibly powerful even if it is a bit hard to aim. Best of all, he has a 38% chance of Rallying another X-Men figure. I've knocked down Beast a total of seven times. He's been white five of them. In a 120 point game I ran where the two teams were "Beast x3, Gambit, Wolverine" vs. "S2 SS Mace Windu, Gold KAM, Plo Koon, Jedi Knight x3, S4 SS Han Solo", The game ended with two Beast figures and Gambit still in play. Beast rallied four times, bringing in another copy of himself three times and Wolverine the fourth. Beast is easily my favorite figure out of the nine I've gotten, even better than Avenger Spidey, and I doubt any other figure will be capable of overtaking that slot.

Thanks for the info Grievous. It helps me when I buy my boosters and open them if I should be excited about certain figures or not.
I am however, a little jealous that I don't have any figures yet!

After another two games, I can officially confirm that Beast is the best 20+ points figure I currently own. I played my dad in a game and his darned power activated at least five times. The worst part was that four of those five were when he only had one Beast left but he was able to grab another from his defeated pile. I got lucky when my Electro died, allowing me to bring in Venom. My dad isn't a very competent striker so, after three failed attacks each, I finally slayed Beast for the final time via a nice uppercut.
So, Beast is probably the best Rare in Marvel, even over Avengers Spider-Man. Beast is so low to the ground and his power activates so often that I would take an army of five of him over an army of ten Spidey at the moment. Still, I'd like to get at least two more Avengers Spideys before I decide to stick with that synopsis.
EDIT: Something else I noticed just a bit ago. The Marvel Attacktix booster has pole-dancing Spidey as the back image (like SW has the Stormtrooper and TF has Optimus). However, the power listed is one that we have heard absolutely nothing about... "Clone: Put Spider-Man into play from your backups". Every other booster back has had the corresponding power to match the figure shown. JoeAttacktix's spoilers, however, has the power listed as "Rescue: Any". Perhaps the power was changed to make the figure better or possibly in order to avoid fan outcry over the mere mention of the "Clone Saga" in the comic book. Far more importantly, will we eventually see this power?

Beast seems like an improved version of Battle Ravage from the sound of things.

I've played a few more games and have some more thoughts.
Thor: His attack is really hit or miss since it almost seems random if he actually knocks a figure down. Also, I've noticed that his hammer seems to slow about 2/3rds into the strike. This makes it much harder to defeat someone low to the ground like Beast or a Minicon. Also, Thunderclap is a decent power power. Nothing game breaking but the ability to mess with opponent's formations is very nice.
The X-Men: Easily one of my favorite teams right now. Wolverine stands up, Gambit goes to start, and Beast won't stop rallying himself every time he dies. Also, in my first thoughts about the figures. I said that my X-Men team of "Beast x3, Gambit, Prodder Wolverine" cost 120 points. Somehow or another, I never actually looked at Wolverine's point cost and it turns out that it is actually 20! So, a team of 3-4 Beasts and 1-2 Wolverines looks very good. In conclusion, the X-Men are good because they're low cost and can constantly come back. As mentioned above, Beast is like Battle Ravage 2.0 but with a strike that is easier to get multi-kills, a power that activates more often, and much better defense.
Avengers Spider-Man: After playing with him some more, I've determined that his strike sucks. Think Royal Guard suck. I use the exact same technique that I use with Kit Fisto or KAM to send figures all the way across the board and all Spidey does is knock the target about two inches away. I might just have gotten one with a bad spring but if Spidey's with strikes like his are the rule and not the exception then he's not as good as he appeared in the previews.

Did anybody get Electro or Punisher yet? If so, what color and size bullets did they come with?

Interesting, very interesting. All I know is that I currently have in my possession an Electro with the yellow missile of weirdness. Perhaps I just got very lucky and got a semi-prototype version? Or maybe the packaging system (whether human or otherwise) messed up and started putting in large red missiles instead of the yellow ones? Here's a picture to prove it (bad lighting, sorry):

Yea, we got red bullets too in our Electro.
Out of six boosters we pulled: Electro X2 Beast X2 Pyro Spider-Man Daredevil Gambit X2 Capt America Hulk Wolverine
Not to shabby I guess.
