For those of you whose goblin you can never put in the base let me offer a suggestion.
Stick the 'feet' or 'notches' in some hot (not boiling) water for a few minutes. This should soften the plastic just a little bit to manipulate enough to stick it into the base. This is a common action figure trick for figures that have parts that are bent funny. Once cooled, it should stay in place.

I got Greene. He is pretty hard to snap on his base. But my friends has the same problem,m, so it is all Green Goblins out. Oh well. It is not that big of a deal. It just requires a bit of effort no your part...

I have a few Goblins and LOVE them. A few of the ones I have would go right into the cloud and a few others would not go in at all. It was frustrating b/c when my friends played with him, they could not get him in the slots right. I fixed the problem by doing this...
I boiled some water and held the glider in the water for a few seconds. I pulled him out and put the posts into the slots and left him there until it cooled. Now they are all perfect. Don't know if this is legal but I only play for fun anyway.
