1 Blade 2 Fat Mama (r any one else from "Who wants to be a Super-hero?") 3 Cyclops 4 Human Torch 5 Spiderman I may be mistaken.. But I was thinking that the "who wants to be a super-hero" winner was going to have their own comic produced by dark horse comics.

I don't remember that being brought by dark horse.
Stan Lee was in charge of the show. He was supposed to get them in a comic series and a special (TV) movie on the Sci-Fi channel.

Taken from the wikipedia: The grand prize for the winning superhero is to have his or her character star in a Dark Horse Comics comic book written by Lee and an original movie to be aired on Sci Fi Channel. I dont think Stan actually "really" has anything to marvel anymore. I dont know the whole legality of it, I think he gets some kind of royalties, but all in all I think the ties are cut. Thats one reason he was starting that whoole Pow! Entertainment thing. Am I wrong here? Does anyone know better about Stan's current marvel link? Maybe I am all wrong about that.... Taken from wikipedia yet again: Marvel, in 2006, commemorated Lee's 65 years with the company by publishing a series of one-shot comics starring Lee himself meeting and interacting with many of his creations, including Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, The Thing, Silver Surfer and Dr. Doom.

Nope, Malform is right: More info here: www.darkhorse.com/news/interviews.php?id=1331Stan's title and position at Marvel is purely honorary now. He continues to write the Spider-Man comic strip, syndicated to some 500 newspapers. Stan Lee maintains links with Marvel, even though he is involved in a "friendly" lawsuit with them over royalty payments. Marvel reportedly pays him $1m a year for promotional work at lectures and conventions. In 1999, his Stan Lee Media venture, aimed at marrying comic-strips with the Internet, went spectacularly wrong. Lee went bankrupt and his business partner landed in prison for fraud. In 2001 though, he started a new company entitled POW! Entertainment, which is currently developing films and television programmes. The only thing that gets his name on it that he is concerned with is the paychecks

Didn't know so many people on this board loved Who Wants To Be A Superhero. Hmm, might have to do some WWTBAS-themed repaints then.
