Cool, we need people to say they will help on the project. OK, well we can sure let them KNOW we will be big enough for their standards. requests.wikia.com/wiki/AttacktixTo ALL FANS: Post in the COMMENTS section, let them know you want this. TO THOSE WHO WANT TO HELP Let them know that you plan to post articles, keep things updated, and you WILL spread the word to other forums. The most users who post to get this started and PROMISE to join (sounds like they need 20 members) then this is something we CAN do, but we need the community to help. So the link is up there. If you really want it, do something about it... if not we will probably get rejected.

Absolutely, Radar. We've already got some 7-8 people confirmed on the site as "willing to work" and, considering my research across said wikirequest site, that should be more than enough to give us a decent shot. However, the more we have the better chances we have of success.
Everyone who hasn't signed the community comment area, if you want this idea to have a better chance at working out, sign the area ASAP. Even if you don't necessarily don't want to work on the site, sign it and say it is a good idea. If you think you'll work on this Wiki even just once every few weeks, sign it and say that you'll edit whenever you have the time. We need all the help we can get with this.
If we can get TixiPedia, TixTionary, or whatever we decide to call it off the ground, it'll give us one more resource to use and one more resource that could get Hasbro to take this community seriously (at least more-so than it already does). Nothing shows more dedication to a passtime than investing time into something like a Wikia.
Again, PLEASE sign the page. It doesn't take an account, it doesn't take any HTML experience, it doesn't take more than two minutes. Just a simple "An Attacktix wiki would be cool and helpful" comment would do much more help than saying nothing at all. This is our chance to make something big and we're going to need this entire community's support to have a good shot at getting it done.

I am more than happy to get this thing started, and use JoeAttacktix as leverage to get the approval... but running the blog and modding the forum is a full time job, on top of my other full time jobs.
So I think we need some volunteers to step up... Obviously everyone who commented will help out, and I think Grievous is most gung ho. No one will get rejected, since it is truly a community project, but the section leaders should be picked out.
Mods are people that are well trusted, and I think Grievous, ionicdesign and Superfly have all been important members of the forum, I am more than happy to let you all come together and make decisions. I will start a new TEMPORARY category to start drafting out the structure... and then you can nominate section leaders, etc.
My ONLY concern is that the Rules section can NOT be called JoeAttacktix House Rules:
1. Because one of the violations of the TOA is that you can not be promoting an outside website. While we can link to Joe and Master sites, we couldn't name our wiki after them, thus I assume we can't name drop for similar reasons
2. Because the wiki will be an ATTACKTIX community, and not a JoeAttacktix specific community.
So I SUGGEST the name be changed to Attacktix Community Rules, since they will be rules used when played by the community, as opposed to a specific house or website. But most importantly, to not break the TOA, call it anything you want, but keep it generic.

Thanks to EVERYONE who added their comments. I hopped on the Wikia Support board to ask the usual length of review... which is 1-2 weeks. But luckily, I am a nice guy (and all your comments helped, too) <Catherine> Jojo: Attacktix looks like a good request with a lot of support. You'll have a shiny new wiki in about ten minutes. <jojomanzo> AWESOME!!! Thank you so much Catherine! So we got it!

Excuse me for just one moment...
BOOYA!!!!!!!!![/size]
Sorry, couldn't contain myself. ;D
Thanks a ton for setting this up, Joe. I'm certain that if I (or anyone else) had just randomly wandered in it wouldn't have gotten nearly as much support in this forum nor on Wikia. Now, the real fun begins!

Agreed - I was actually just using "JoeAttacktix rules yadayada" as a placeholder for the final naming convention that all parties agreed to.
So, let the games begin!

I'm in, tell me how to help!
(looks at site) Look at all those red links... we've all got a ton of work on ur hands.
As a question is anyone interested in putting in trivia-esque bits? In the case of the special powers page, for example, stating in which figure or set this was first introduced ('Vengeance' with Blackheart, Force Push with SW S2, etc).
Certain members of this board should also probubly have pages on themselves, as should Joeatacktix.com.

Certain members of this board should also probubly have pages on themselves, as should Joeatacktix.com. No worries on that. My basic idea for the Special Powers is as follows: Special Powers Overview Page - A brief overview of each Attacktix special power. Each of power's listing links to the main power. Specific Special Powers Pages - A very detailed description of every power. What figures have the powers, the percentages of said figure, how to maximize a power if you're using it, how to minimize it if you're facing it. This will let people quickly see what powers are available in the game while also allowing one to delve in much deeper if so desired.
