For a few days now I have been seeing these commercials on tv saying to check out your favorite local retailer on the 2nd, it will be "more than meets the eye".... well, I went to 2 wal-mart stores and a meijer and I saw nothing impressive. Meijer had nothing at all, one wal-mart had a single movie prime, and the other wal-mart had several movie primes and a few miniature die cast figures of movie characters... I was just really disappointed to not find any new movie base attacktix.

Interesting, I didn't know about the commercials, but went to our walmart yesterday and saw they had cleared an entire 8 foot section out and transformers labels were all over the pegs (of course they were all empty yesterday). I'll have to revisit and see what I find...

I work at Meijer and ours cleared no pegs, has no movie merchandice whatsoever, nothing. But my local Targets and Toys R Uses were gearing up. I didn't get to go check it out today (6-2) but I'm a-goin tomorrow!

"New movie guy"? Mine sounds like Garry Chalk on some phrases, he's hardly new.

The target by my place was LOADED with transformers stuff - the little robot heroes all the way to the full figures, voice changers, silly string launchers...but no Tix.
Shame, as I had to ride my bike in the rain...

I never watched anything Armada, Energon or Cybertron... so those are all new to me... which is exactly why I am not the TF mod EDIT:So which is the Prime voice in the live action?

Im not surprised if you guys havent seen the commercials. Hasbro seems to have horrible commercial time placement. Im not 100% sure what channel they were on (I think cartoon network), but I dont think I ever saw it earlier than 9:00.

The movie Prime is voiced by Peter Cullen, who did Prime's voice in the 80s. Garry Chalk voiced Prime in the 90s and 00s. He's also the Russian general from Stargate SG-1. So weird hearing Optimus Prime blustering in a Russian accent.... ---Dave

So for most younger TF fans, they probably only heard the Chalk voice? Man, I was pumped for this movie after the second trailer... I wasn't even worried about plot or voice acting, but something about Cullen's voice makes me feel right at home! I also hadn't bought a TF since the 80s (unless you count Star Wars Transformers) but I hope some of the TFs make it to Target clearance... I love this new movie look. It is growing on my like that red stuff in Cabin Fever!!!

It is growing on my like that red stuff in Cabin Fever!!! Just yesterday Target had already marked everything to clearance. The 25.00 Optimus was down to 19.99. The 19.99 figures (Which, of what I have seen are Ironhide, Starscream, Blackout, and Rachet) are marked down to 17.99. And the 9.99 are down to 7.99. These have Bumblebee, Jazz, Brawl, Bonecrusher, Barricade, and a few more that I think are not in the movie. I saved over nine dollars on 3 figures when I went.

First week sale. And if you bought the new movie toys on Saturday, bring your receipt into Target and they'll refund the difference between full and sale prices.

First week sale. And if you bought the new movie toys on Saturday, bring your receipt into Target and they'll refund the difference between full and sale prices. ---Dave That's good to know, I'll have to do that! I was at one of my local Target stores right as they were opening (8:00) on Saturday morning, and to my dismay, nothing was ready! The places were set and tags were hung, but no robots! As I slowly approached the naked aisle I heard the sound of a cart behind me. It was a cart full of TFs! I watched them unload a bit, but all they brought out were the end cap items (Bumblebee Unleashed, Optimash Prime, OP Voice Changer, TF Stratego, and Some Rock'em Sock'em TFs. I realized that standing there was pointless so I wandered off for a few minutes to look in electronics. When I returned, they were taking away the cart with empty boxes and I overheard them talking about another whole pallet for the aisle! Within 10 minutes, they brought out the pallet and began filling the shelf with TF goodness. While there, I got Leader Class Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Ratchet, Starscream, and Blackout (all Voyager Classes). They didn't have any new Deluxe figures, but had a ton of Fast-Action-Battlers, Cyber-Slammers, and Real Gear. I passed on these items, it's the core line I'm focused on. They also had the Target exclusives: Robo-Vision OP, and Arcee, Hardtop and Signal Flare repaints- All of which I also passed on, however may go back for Robo-Vision Optimus. I next went to the Walmart and Toys R Us in the same area. Walmart was a MAJOR disappointment. They had the huge cool banner up, but no figures at all. Their toy dept. has been in the same condition since about January. It' a shame really. Toys R Us had everything that Target had plus the TF Super Soaker and the Legends figures. No other store during my trek had the Legends, so maybe they are an exclusive??? They also had a definite exclusive Titanium G1 OP/BB 2 pack. After that, I still needed Deluxe Bumblebee, Bonecrusher, Scorponok, and Swindle so I headed to the other 2 shopping areas near my home (both of which also include a Target, Walmart, TRU). I found these figures I needed but throughout the entire journey, there was no sign of Megatron (other than Legends). Up until Tuesday, I had been wondering if we were to be held in suspense, until wave 2, waiting for Megatron. But on that day I found him on a return visit to the Target I blitzkrieg-ed on Saturday. One lonely Leader Class Megatron was found on the shelf, and he swiftly made his way home with me. I now am the proud owner of: Autobots: Optimus Prime -Leader Class Ironhide -Voyager Ratchet -"" Bumblebee -Deluxe (Classic Camaro) Jazz -"" Optimus Prime Protoform -Deluxe Decepticons: Megatron -Leader Class Starscream -Voyager Blackout -"" Barricade -Deluxe Bonecrusher -"" Brawl -"" Scorponok -"" Swindle -"" Wreckage-"" Starscream Protoform -Deluxe Happy, I am. ;D EDIT: Forgot to mention (incase you hadn't guessed) that I saw no new Attacktix what-so-ever.
