I strongly disagree with your assessment. This would not be the first time we have seen figures displayed far in advance of their intended release date.
TF2 will be released as shown in the figure galleries on hasbro.com.... You can take that to the bank.

You do forget that some of the figures in the list may be "placeholders" like how Galvatron was one for series 1, but was never released.
Secondly, TF2 Booster Packs aren't even released yet, so one word: HA!

I don't know if this is S2 Transformers or not but like I said before: I've just noticed that the series 2 galleries of Transformers has 10 repaints and that the new Transformers revealed are exactly 10 figures. Coincidence?

Coincidence? Sorry, but if those ten figures are in Series 2, then I guess Hasbro listened to us about how bad Series 2 will be with it as mostly repaints.

Galvatron wasn't a placeholder, it was intended for a battle case. But then they decided battle cases weren't gonna sell, so moved Galvatron back to S2.
Some of these may come out during S2, especially movie-related figures, but we may also be seeing a peek at S3.

Hmm, I'm not sure anymore. JayDouble recently posted a pic that has an 11th figure, a repaint of Sideswipe, so I now have no idea whether this is S2 or S3.

I don't remember a sideswipe repaint in G1, unless it's another Langorghini Transformer from another universe.
But the Rumble one has got to be a huge naming mistake. Frenzy's blue, Rumble's red.
If this is gonna be final, then this will be a huge (and I mean huge) slap in the face for any G1 purists collecting Attacktix.

Actually the Jedi Defender pics showed us 11 booster figures: RUMBLE BLASTER IRONHIDE SKYWARP LAZERBEAK JETFIRE SHOCKWAVE JAZZ STARSCREAM GRAPPLE SIDESWIPE and the figure from Jay's pics is: MIRAGE Making it 12. Throw in a repaint from Series 1 or 2 and a perhaps a non, but new non-Generation 1 figure and you have an entire set of 18. These figures are definitely Series 3.

"But the Rumble one has got to be a huge naming mistake. Frenzy's blue, Rumble's red." No, frenzy was red, rumble was blue. Well, technicaly rumble was purple, but definitely not red. And I will have to get that Ironhide. I mean look at him, he has a street light for a club. Who else but Ironhide .

These made my day. This is like a gift from Hasbro. I am totally thrilled for the G1-style figures. I'll also be repainting my Rumble as I prefer him to match how he was originally (the toy came first and was red, so I always see him as red). But while they provide this and bring up RIRFIB/FIRRIB, they should give us a Death Star and Unicron Attacktix, so we can have them duke it out while we are at it.

First post since January. I would of thought you were out of Attacktix by now.

I would bet anyone that TF2 is released as viewable on attacktix.com, and you wont see any of those figures at celebration IV (with exception of the movie figures we have seen previews of already as tournament and mega sets) untill at least december.... May even be early 08, seeing how long its taking TF2 to get here.
