Is that Whirl 30 or 40 points? Whirl is a 30 pointer. Also, notice in the picture, he has absolutely no top tix window?... Very strange.

Look at the photo of Whirl, and take a look at the front of his "rotor wash". Looks like it's been notched - could be that the Tix wheel has 2 gears and a riser so that the wheel spins way up in the rotor wash (about a finger's thickness above the black base)... you see that notch?

You talking about the part in the front at the bottom of the grayish area? Looks kind of like a DQ swirl to me.

Yes, front dad center, about a finger's thickness above the base, in the grey DQ swirlie thingie. There's a notch in the front, and my suspicion is that they've made the tixwheel on top smaller than the normal double-sided wheel, and on the top of the "rolling wheel" that makes the 'tix click' they've added a gear, a small shaft, and another reducing gear up higher (in the swirlie) that connects to a smaller-diameter speed wheel, where the number shows through that little notch.
EDIT: No, I was wrong. Looking at the attacktix.com fig gallery (http://www.hasbro.com/attacktix/default.cfm?page=galleryTF2) it shows that is just and edge there. If there is a Tix Window, it's at the rear of the figure. Maybe an Effect? like it changes red-black and if it comes up red you shoot both bullets???

I was really looking forward to him just being a straight ol' double shot. Compare with other double attackers... Hes 10 points cheaper than the destroyer droid, and 10 points cheaper than captain america, and he can fly. Im not going to bother with a sandman/ghost rider on cycle comparison. And compare with other flyers.... Hes 10 points cheaper than all of the goblins, and boba... And he has 2 guns! But of course, if there is some sort of effect that limits the double shot, well.... That would just mess it all up.

One thing I can see is that the DD, for 10 extra points, gets full articulation of the arms, so he can shoot 2 enemies in one turn. Whirl appears to have only elevation adjustment, so once the first shot is fired, the second has to go to that same area.

Why cant he shoot where ever you want?

He has a string - as in Boba Flight??? Yes sir... Looks to me like Mr Whirl is going to be able to pull off those super easy goblin style base shots double time.

Malform: Depends on whether you rule that turning a flier is like adjusting an arm or like turning a base, I suppose. One you can do after firing, the other you can't.

One you can do after firing, the other you can't. ---Dave Im not 100% sure what you are getting at... Are you meaning firing whilrs projectiles at 2 different targets? Its been a long standing rule that a figure with multiple attacks can attack more than one figure. I see no reason why whirl would be judged any differently. All you need to do is take him off the base, shoot at one figure, shoot at another... So I dont really understand what you mean by "turning".
