Though Skywarp's definitely not the best, I still put him to use more often than Landquake. With Landquake, most of the time his SP just gets wasted due to a lack of remaining attack actions for your opponent.

Compared to Landquack he is a KING! Landquack is a waste IMO. I hate to say that I don't like Sky warp, that is being to harsh. I think he is neat, just not a "super" figure. Some people love him and I can see why. I would just rather have Starscream in instead of him.
That G1 Megatron is the boss of the TF s2 SS. He is so much fun to play with. I really wish they would come out with a Starscream holding a transformed Megatron pistol and let the special read "transform bring in Starscream jet mode and Megatron robot mode". Make it 40 points, 6 speed, medium base. GROOVY!
How awesome would that figure be?

That's EXACTLY what I want, and I'd love to see a couple of Shockwave figures come out (one robot, another laser pistol mode wielded by Soundwave!).
I'd really love to see a G1 Megatron // Walther P1 mode wielded by Starscream. That would be the shizznitt.

It would be great to see Soundwave with the cassettes (didn't he carry 3-4 inside him) being able to come into play if he is defeated. There is great potential with this line if they just give it a real shot.
GO COLTS!!!!!

Of course, they would then have to provide write-ups or something to explain to all the young children who would buy the figures that would explain exactly what a cassette tape actually is.

In the Japanese Transformers continuity (the Headmasters series, specifically), Soundwave and Blaster (his Autobot counterpart; Trivia, the original toy functioned as an AM radio!) beat each other to death. His cassette-lackeys recovered as much as they could and delivered his remains to Scorponok, who resurrected him as Soundblaster. I'm unsure if the name comes from Blaster parts getting mixed into him, or if it was supposed to be a signifier of his victory over Blaster... In any rate, the toy was almost the same, save for a predominately black color scheme and his chest cavity was hollowed a bit to allow him to carry two cassettes. The cassettes at his disposal were Buzzsaw: A bird, came with the Soundwave figure. Laserbeak: Repaint of Buzzsaw. For whatever reason, was used rather than Buzzsaw almost exclusively. Ravage: A jaguar. One of the more popular cassettes. Rumble/Frenzy: Two "little guy brawler" robots. In the comics, they had very different abilities, but in the cartoon, they both used Rumble's power to create tremors/earthquakes. There is also some fan debate as to which is which because the toys were issued with Rumble being red/black and Frenzy being blue, but in the cartoon, Frenzy was red/black and Rumble was purple/blue! There is a decades-old acronym joke of FIRRIB (Frenzy Is Red Rumble Is Blue) and FIBRIR (Frenzy Is Blue Rumble Is Red). Ratbat: A bat. Seen only breifly in the cartoon, in the comics he was a conniving sort who briefly assumed leadership of the Decepticons! Slugfest/Overkill: A Stegasaur and Tyrannosaur, they weren't featured in the cartoon, but have made comic book appearances. Squawktalk/Beastbox: A bird and a gorilla that combined into a robot named Squawkbox.

If only we were in charge at hasbro! How about A devastator Mega striker! Power: put constructicons in play! Yes, way to powerful but oh so fun! P.S. Does anyone know what the T2 soundwaves power is?

Soundwave's power, according to the main Attacktix website, is Stun.

Here's the problem: We'd need to HAVE all six Constructicons, then we'd need them to have a faction or class all their own to call them into play. In concept it is a pretty cool idea; I'm not trying to knock it. However, in practice it's not just powerful, but incredibly unlikely. Personally, I think a Constructicons+Devastator Tournament set would be the cat's pajamas, but I'm not going to hold my breath... If it DID come out, rather than having Devastator summon the Constructicons, I'd give them all effect panels that read "When all Constructicons are defeated, put Devastator into play" or something to that effect. This would go along with the cartoon idea of the "components" turning into the giant robot after they got beat down a little. Of course, since Megas aren't tourney-legal, this would mean the whole set would be pretty useless in that setting... but I think most of us would still buy it, and if the 'cons were decently useful at 20-30 points each, they might still see some play as individuals.

It's a garbage figure IMO - What's the point of having skywarp, who can only kill ONE figure with that gun, MMMMMAAAAAAYYYYYYBBBBEEEE two if the wind is right and the planets aligned, going behind enemy lines. The only scenrio I see as being effective is if he's killed and pops up behind someone who is protecting an effect droid like R2Q5. That would be a good use, otherwise that dude (or dud) is shelved in my book. I wouldn't say so, atleast he has a good sculpt, and is useful against troopers... So, be as you may be, one figure is still going ahead in accomplishing the goal, to be the last one standing.
