Ok, I went out hunting for new Titaniums today. No luck. So I decided to get a couple of boosters. I pick through the rack a bit and pick out a couple I'm confident for sure contain at least a Ransack.
I pay, drive home, get to my office after lunch, pull them out.
BOTH boosters are Star Wars.
I have no clue how I completely missed that fact TWICE.
I opened them anyway. Silver base Boba Fett, Slave Leia, AT-ST Driver, and Biker Scout. Kind of cool to have but I was hoping to get a few Jedi. My Vader figure from the Galactic showdown set totally rocks.

I hate it when that happens... my mom got my two brothers and I boosters for our birthdays. When our birthdays rolled around, we three Star Wars fans were a bit surprised our mom had bought us Transformers boosters... she was completely shocked. She didn't actually know there were different kinds. I am really glad I learned that lesson through my mom instead of me doing it myself. I didn't mind when my mom did it, (actually we were very overjoyed--we would never have gotten a chance to try out the Transformers line) but if I had done it I would have been completely irked. The hardest person to forgive is yourself. That's a lesson I've learned over, and over, and over. And at least getting some boosters messed up is not a big deal compared to a lot of other things you could have to forgive yourself for.
Oh yes, and you couldn't have gotten Jedi, because you picked out Series Four boosters, and Star Wars Series Four has no Jedi in it. SW S1 and S2 both had Jedi, but when Hasbro moved from Prequels to Trilogy, there were not enough Jedi that you could make a 100-point team out of, only Luke and Yoda, and they were made into Rebels.

Happened to me once in reverse, before I started collecting the other lines. Went to buy two TF Boosters and bought one TF and one SW Booster. Caught it before I opened it and took it back to the store and explained that I got the wrong one. They were kind enough to let me exchange the unopened SW Booster for a TF one...
Ironically enough, if that happened now it wouldn't matter since I've taken to collecting all three lines...

TF just doesn't seem to excite me as much as SW. I guess I don't know much about TF, so I don't go, "wow, I got Prime!" I go, "who's this little guy?".

Well, it's not a 'Gotta Collect 'Em All" thing, I just collect them for fun. If I don't get all of a series, it's not important.

For me, i just get some boosters and some starters. (Mostly SW, since i don't care the most for Marvel and TF, but i like a little of each.)

I've done that, not realizing it was SW until I was in the checkout line. Maybe they should have different colored boxes for different sets. Of course, they WANT you to accidentally get one you would normally pass up, and get hooked on a different flavor. Just one Marvel booster, I said. Just one. Didn't work that way.
