Nice! I actually like the use of the PS2 game Decepticlones. It will give the game a good army builder so that I won't get tired of getting the same commons over when I personally don't use more than one of the same character. Insecticon will be good for that as well. I don't know about Omnicon, but it seems like a somewhat acceptable way to have an Autobot army builder. Maybe Powerdashers? I can't even think of any bot army builders ever in any TF series. If they do G1, they could use Seacons as army builders. And Vehicons would also be appropriate for that purpose. I guess that is one thing I was really waiting to see. I was anxious about how I'd deal with commons of unique characters. Now it looks like that won't be too much of a problem. Mace Windu is going to take out so many Decepticlones! I love their choice for a Mega...and already with the much needed retool/repaint. It isn't quite Unicron, but definitely a notable character imo. I already know I will have all of these. There is great much potential for special releases (or customs if they don't happen). I am kind of hoping for a Botcon handout or TF collector club mail-in to get the Transformers Attacktix a boost. Strong Arm repainted as last year's con exclusive would certainly be fitting. I am already enjoying the use of slight modifications like both the Takara and Hasbro versions of Vector Prime being represented here. It also looks like there is more variety in the actual weapons. I'm curious to see how well Battle Ravage's mace actually works. I have a love for all TF generations and hope to see most of them as Attacktix. But this is certainly hitting the ground running.

Also, to address concerns about the seeming impregnability of the TF Megas, I think Joe's notion in the Toy Fair 2006 thread about the knees as targets is right on. When I look at the 3/4 view of both Omega Sentinel and Omega Supreme, their knees look as if they've got buttons on them. I wonder if Tarfful could come to the rescue to knock these bad boys down with one swipe And doesn't it seem odd that the Mega packaging states that the Mega comes with Crumplezone, but Dirtboss is included in that package? Battle throwing action...I've gotta wonder what that really means.

My guess is that Battle Throwing action is like the Power of a Chewie Uppercut, with the leverage of the Kicking Kenobi!

Yeah, from the look of his forked hand, it seems like if he strikes, he could really send you flying. Heck as big as he is, he may be able to send 2 or 3 figures flying, then crashing into others behind them.

Whoa, those look awesome. I hope they actually show up in Canada, though. Unlike Series 2 and 3. *grumble*

:(personally, i don't like the idea. sure, it will get more people to buy attacktix, but i don't want Optimus Prime shooting my Jedi down. it just takes the fun out of star wars attacktix

But if they were to make different Star Wars attacktix to retaliate to the transformers, i'd be very happy

Those new pics are nice...I'm really starting to get more geeked for this set...Optimus looks like a HOUSE of a fig, I'm impressed with the variety of attacks...this seemed like it might have ended up all shooters, but the variety of melee attacks is nice...can't wait...

Scourge, Strongarm and Crumplezone look like the only traditional "Strikers". I can not WAIT to try Battle Ravage Landmine, Skyblast and Ransack look like Tusken "Poker" attacks And Scorponok could be like a Threepio... No idea about Demolisher.
But you are right! I too thought I was going to see a whole lot of shooting figures, but it is a nice spread - and of course it SHOULD be heavy on shooting after all that's what the latest cartoons look like to me. I especially like the Dirtboss missile. I am not sure if it will do anything better than a regular missile, but it sure LOOKS like fine.
But man, Battle Ravage makes me DROOL! I can not wait. 2 months!!! Let's get some more discussion here... who else can not wait?

I just found this one and figures I might as well add it, since it is the clearest shot I have seen yet:
