As long as there's a Cobra Commander I'm happy, not only was he my favorite character as a kid, but I love the I love Toys skit "Cobra Commander's day off".

I have no doubt that there isn't enough longevity for Joe Attacktix to ever make all the characters I would want. There are just way too many and if the game did as well as the Joe TCG, I will/would be disappointed. I was was/am a huge fan of the Joe TCG.. in fact I think I ran the only (ever) "official" Joe TCG tourney (was held at the 2005 Joecon in MN).. and I was very, very disappointed to see the game get canceled. I think the difference though is that the big 3 generally didn't support the game. Packs could be found here or there, but on a large scale, most TRUs, Wal-Marts, & Targets had nothing (and the ones that did never got a restock). With just online stores and comic shops pushing the Joe TCG.. it was doomed to fail. Attacktix, on the other hand, are sold all over.. and at nearly every "big 3" store. Because of this support alone, I have faith that a Joe Attacktix game will do much better than the TCG ever did. I will agree, however, that Joe will probably not have the staying power of Star Wars. The fan base just isn't as large and though there is a S6 toon on Saturdays, it doesn't compare to the cult following (to include kids) of 6 SW movies. Sad (for us Joe fans), but admittedly true (imo). I doubt we'd ever see more than 3 waves of 20 to 30 figures (each). Still.. if this is true, even 60 figures would be quite cool & provide enough for a variety of strategies. I agree that they should probably start with S6 characters, because that's what's on TV now, etc, BUT.. like the SW Attacktix, I hope they move to the classic ARAH characters/looks eventually. S6 might be the "hook", but the quality and depth of the line will reside with the 80s characters/uniforms. As far as a list goes, these would be my top 10 from each side: GI Joe Snake Eyes Recondo (lol.. go figure, right?) Beach Head Footloose Dusty Flint Scarlet Falcon Repeater Hawk (lol.. I am not a big Duke fan) Cobra/MARS/Dreadnoks Cobra Commander Stormshadow Major Bludd Firefly Zartan Baroness Destro Scrap Iron Dr. Mindbender (OR Dr. Venom) Copperhead (Serpentor is a BIG name that I left off the list.. and I'd want to see him, but not until a 2nd or 3rd wave. I'd like to see CC have his time as the main "leader" first.

Every universe that has come out seems to have some old school flavor to it. How do you guys feel about having Real American Hero figures? Based on the figures we've seen in other sets, I'd have to guess that is what we will see. It seems to me that they would be cool figures.

I know NOTHING about GI Joe except for this little bit of information.
They have ninjas.
I would buy a GI Joe Starter Set if it had ninjas in it. I wouldn't even need to get a booster pack to be able to make a good squad. All I want are ninja Attacktix.

Lemme know what the power, faction, points value and so on are. I'm making it from a Ki-Adi-Mundi S1 Black. Trade me a couple of Jedi Knights, or 4-5 battle droids. Also, let me know what color; send me a photo and that's even better.

I really, really, really, really (lots of "really"s) don't want to give my address out to someone I don't know. So, while I thank you for the great offer, I can't take you up on it. That, and I don't have any battle droids. I do have 4 Jedi Knights but they are *imitates Gollum* My Preciouses!

I don't know much about Joe... except what I've picked up from Robot Chicken... but I doubt Joe will only last 3 waves, G.I. Joe is still selling normal figures and if the figures are cool us TF and SW fans will undoubtedly pick them up as well. Plus if I remember correctly Joe's been around longer then either SW or Tf, meaning they have just as much, if not more, figures to Attackixcise (cool, I made up a word!) Plus the demographic the cartoon is aimed for (I guess) is also the demographic that would very much love to shoot at other things with their favorite cartoon hero and have a game of it.

Robot Chicken is the best show on TV. Now, what is the name of the guy from the GI JOE series that had a 2-pack of FAFNIR missles on his detachable backpack? I sure loved that figure, and if he was in the GI JOE series I'd definately buy them. HEAR THAT WEBHEAD!!!!
