Don't get me started on the Miis! I didn't actually play a game on the Wii until a few days after I got it, because I was making tons of Miis. I have a bunch of Mario, Zelda, and Star Wars Miis, and even a Master Chief that a friend of mine made! It's so fun to watch them play baseball, and they all play well, but sometimes I think they play a little too well. (Curses, Vader! Why must you and your stormtroopers always be in the outfield?)

Mii's are an absolute riot! We have made one for every member of our family as well. It's very addictive once you get started. What's fun is that you can play some of the mini-games on Mario Party 8 with your Mii's.

Yes, we've got Miis for each of our family members too, plus a Luke and Leia that MM just added.

Where do you find ways to make Stormtroopers and Vader? Is there a place where you can download extra crap to add to the Mii's?

Yeah, just do a search on the internet for "mii" and you'll find a bunch. In addition if you download the "Check Mii Out" channel for free, you have access to all the Mii's that people post on there. There are a lot of funny pop culture refrences. BTW, my favorite out of all I downloaded is Janet Reno. It's Reno time! But you can also find Batman, Snoopy, George Bush, Darth Vader, etc.

Just watch out for the STD's, some of them can get serious. LOL! Actually, I wondered about that myself.

For all intents and purposes, the Wii is virus proof. If you're just playing games online or using Nintendo's weather/news/Mii features, you are 100% safe. Theoretically, if you are surfing the internet using the browser, you could get a virus.
However, the programmer would have to have designed the virus solely for the Wii. Windows-based viruses cannot effect it, a virus would have to be designed specifically for the console. It's kinda like with the Mac before it got popular recently. No one has ever bothered to make viruses for it because the amount of people online with a Wii (I believe somewhere in the area of half the Wii-using population have used the internet browser feature, so about ten million) is nothing compared to how many people could be messed with via a virus for the PC. The effort to damage ratio is tiny. Combine that even further with the fact that there isn't any information worth stealing or corrupting on Wii's (no credit card numbers, etc.) along with the fact that one would have to figure out the Wii's operating system to even have an idea of where to start with a virus and a virus maker has next to no reason to even touch the Wii.
Combine that with the fact that the Wii can't actually download things and it is 99.999999% safe. The only issue with using the browser is fiddling with the interface along with Java and Flash and crap.

I think it's a cool idea that they're giving people a chance to race with motorcycles. I tore up the track in Mario Kart DS when I unlocked Waluigi's chopper!

Anyone own Mario Kart for the Wii yet? It's great fun! I've been racing online for some time now (got it yesterday). Worth the money.

We got Mario Kart this past Sunday and its an absolute blast. The only thing I have an issue with is the freaking cheating AI. How in the world can they get three blue shells and a POW block in the space of one lap? Sheer hax. Other than that, great game. Anyone that wants to play me online, just send me a PM and we can swap friend codes.

I got it Sunday, and it rocks! I've only done one time trial on the Luigi Circuit, but I'm already ranked 18th fastest in the world! I haven't raced online yet, but I hear there's no lag, as was the problem with Brawl.
On a side note... Should I download the Mario Kart Channel? What does it do?
