That's........yeah, that's a lot of star wars stuff. I like star wars as much as the next guy, but I think it's good to stop for a moment and ask if our addictions are getting in the way of our lives. You might do well to consider letting some of these things go (like a Jedi at one with the force or something, or a Kung Fu Master) there is a point when material things no longer help us, but they begin to restrain us. You yourself noted that you hate the new Episode 3 boxes, perhaps that would be a good place to start selling, and freeing your mind, saving space, time,...and perhaps your marriage.
Just something to consider -Radar

you are right in so many ways. I've considered this on a very serious level. However, if I sell anything it has to be everything. I don't want straggling pieces to remind me of this stuff that took up so much of my time, money, life. I want it gone, but yet I keep adding to it. I think of it as a sort of a disease, this thing called "collecting". It seeps in to my everyday life, not just with star wars junk but also with everything else. I'm a serious pak-rat too. I'm just glad I'm not a serial killer, man it'd get way out of hand then.

Steel - at least your room is functional! I've been to other guys' houses where their entire Star Wars room is a wreck. I'm sure your wife appreciates your neatness. We have a similar room but it's full of Superman MOC figs.
But who dusts all those figures???

Some have collected alot of dust and I leave some of it, for example the uncarded figures on the shelves, I don't dust because it would be too much trouble. Whenever I get a some new figures and all the figures on the walls have to do a rotation I usually do some dusting at that point. I think its neat and tidy (usually) however my wife sees it as one huge mess. Especially now that I have almost half the ceiling covered the room looks mighty small. I'll get some of those protech Star cases for the Ep 3 figures here in the next month, I wanted to wait and see how many they were going to put out on this card style before I ordered. I'll be doing a massive dusting spree once I get those in.
