I'm curious about what my fellow Attactix maniacs like to do in their free time. Personally, I enjoy playing tennis, writing, and singing (well, when I had time to be in a band, anyway). My wife and I play tennis as often as we can (and we're getting one of our friends back into playing tennis, too), which is admittedly limited to the summer months up here in chilly Minnesota. I've also got a novel underway (which I'm giving myself 10 years to finish), along with a few smatterings of short stories.

Between work and family, I don't seem to have much free time. That's why Attacktix is so great for us, we play it together. Team games are a lot of fun! Other than that, my main hobby is softball, which my wife also enjoys very much.

Yeah, I'm hoping to get my as-yet-non-existent kids into Attacktix (if I've got any working figures in 5-10 years) It's the sort of game that I wish were around when *I* was a kid. As for the softball, my wife used to be a mean pitcher, whereas I was more of a utility player. Do you guys have preferred positions, or do you just take whatever's needed?

I'm a full time stay home dad with two sons that play hockey, so I never stay home. I coach/asst. coach.
For fun, photography is it for me. Recently started doing youth sports photography after selling some hockey shots, and am trying to work this part time business into either more part time work, or even full time.

I play guitar and sing, I am a single dad with a 8 year old son, and I am a member of the 501st Legion of Stormtroopers. www.501st.com . I am a Executive Officer of the 501st Mountain Garrison which is a smaller group of the 501st Legion. We cover the states of Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. If you are a Star Wars fan, you should check out the main site, and then check out your local Garrison. At first it looks like a costuming group, but it is so much more than that. We do promo things for Lucasfilm on a regular basis as well as fund raisers for Terminally Ill childrens charities. Ok so now I am off on a tangent... I also am very artistic and I build replica props with a few friends. Other than that there are probably a hundred other things that I love to do but can rarily find the time for! ON a side note i love this emoticon... ... very cool

My first love was computers and gaming! I have spent a great many evenings lost in wonderous worlds that this medium has provided.
That was until my son. Since that time, I have grown to love spending as much of my free time as he is willing with him or living vicariously through him. He is now at that perfectly fun age where we can do and enjoy things together. Right now Attacktix and Battlefront are what we enjoy together at home.
My other love is traveling and experiancing all this wonderful world has to offer. I want to go, see, do, share, and experiance as much as I can afford while I am physically and monetarily able.
I enjoy most all sports both spectator and participating (although this has slowed a great deal with time). The NFL and Nascar being my favorites.
I enjoy cooking, and kind of taken that up as a hobby when I have the time. I love and enjoy food and trying different spices and flavors.
Most of all though, I just live for and enjoy doing stuff with my wife and son.

Other than play attacktix? ....hmmmm.....oh yeah. I go to college, trying really heard to get out as soon as possible. I work at an arcade and I'm investing slowly into my own company, "Radar's Game Hut" I'd like to collect coin-op video games and rent them out to facilities, arcades, restaurants, movie theaters, etc. I currently have a Plush Crane (my baby) and I recently got a prize vending machine (which almost works now), as they make money I buy more games. I hope to one day own my own arcade, but no tickets...buy tickets, fill tickets, fix tickets, count tickets, trade tickets for prizes? No, no tickets.
I also work about once a month doing carnivals, that's right Radar is a certifiable "Carnie". We set up booths with games and give prizes to the kids, it's a lot of fun. I do like working with kids.
I'd like to teach HS math. But I don't remember math being so hard. Oh well, life is rough. Right? And so is college. Yes.
I volunteer with kids in my free time too. I try to give them good advise, sometimes of a spiritual nature, but mostly it's just grounded in good common sense.
I love fixing stuff, VCRs, blenders, whatever. Which is probably why I've torn apart so many attacktix figures, also why the keep me around at the arcade and why I keep buying broken video games for a couple hundred bucks.
I used to build battle bots, but they were not very good (or dangerous), so I never competed, but I did figure out a way to make them for about $30. Good size, 30 LB. I made 2 of them, I'll probably take them to the carnivals, kids would probably enjoy that.
That's about it. I'm very paranoid. It's weird, I have no fear of death (I'm rather arrogant), yet I recognize it's possibility FREQUENTLY. I spent my life training in Karate, Wrestling and Kung-fu. And you know what it makes you? A paranoid pacifist! Such is life. (oh yeah) I remember this one time at a church camp I was doing a carnival and, this bear comes strolling up to a girls (elementary school) cabin. I walk right up to it (4 feet away) and say "Bobo, it's time to go" I snapped my fingers and pointed which way for it to walk. I kid you not, the bear did exactly as I told it. Many people would consider that foolish, but I really believe that if it came down to a fight, I'd win. {( I would combine attacking with tactics to form Attacktix)jk} I know it's odd, but there is nothing I fear...except being useless and dying with shame, but that's a different kind of fear. -Radar
Update; Caught a rattlesnake today...paranoia keeps me alive. It was almost a yard long. -Radar

I'm a pastor, conference speaker, and author. I recently finished the book I've dreamed about writing for more than a decade---a text that uses Star Wars to teach theology and personal spirituality. (You can read a sample chapter at timothypauljones.tripod.com/fggffa.html .) I have a doctorate in education, and I do research into the various forms of adult spirituality. I spend my bits and pieces of spare time with my wife and daughter, both of whom I adore. We play disc-golf and (of course) Attacktix. Our daughter was originally adopted from a Romanian orphanage by some people in another state, then ended up being removed from their home because of neglect and abuse. She ended up being bounced in and out of foster homes for a couple of years. When we happened across her in 2003, we saw a good kid who had had a really awful life so far. So, we adopted her. She's wonderful, and she's currently three games ahead of me in Attacktix.

Most of my time is given to music. However I am married with 3 kids. I've been married for 5 1/2 years but we've been together for almost 10, I think. Anyway, guitar and I have been together for about 16 years. We love each other very much. Don't get me wrong, I love my familly very much also, but music was my first love and its hard to juggle it all.
I currently play in a metal band called The Coventry Sacrifice and we play all over KS, MO, OK, and AR hoping to spread out even further out. We've been together since 2001 and have opened for many national acts since then. Lately we've been playing about 3 shows a month. Check out my website if your into heavy music at all.
My kids are 4, 8, and 9 and we all play Attacktix together alot. I've tried to get my wife to play but she'd rather gripe about how much they cost. My kids and I love it though and that's probably what counts really. My wife is an art coordinater for a Photo lab and I work for the local newspaper in the mail/press room ... yay, how interesting.
I've been into Star Wars since I can remember. My grandma took me into JCPenney's at our mall, I was probably 3 yrs old at the time, she bought me the original C-3PO and Darth Vader This was about in 78 or so. Its been an addiction since then. When they started putting new stuff out again in 95, a monster was reborn and now it feeds on star wars stuff. I tried to stop before Ep 1 stuff came out but I was weak and started buying again. Make it stop, it's SO out of control !!!
