1. Yoda 2. Qui-Gon Jinn 3. Obi-Wan Kenobi (he moved up considerably on my list after Episode III) 4. Shaak Ti 5. Count Dooku (I really began to see more in Dooku's character after reading Dark Rendezvous---the best yet of all the Star Wars novels.) 6. Asajj Ventress
And, just for fun, how about also adding your least favorites? 6. Ewoks 5. Yaddle 4. Boss Nass 3. All Gungans except Jar-Jar 2. Elian Sleazebaggano (just because it's the absolute worst and corniest name George Lucas ever came up with) 1. Most despised... Jar-Jar Binks, of course

Here, here! Dark Rendezvous! I absolutely LOVED that novel. My favorite series to date, though, is the Bounty Hunter Wars series. It focuses on Boba Fett and his background, and the rise and fall of the Bounty Hunters' Guild. I also loved the Han Solo Trilogy.

Yeah, they're pretty good, too. I've read all the Star Wars books. I have all of the novels, and most of the children's books.

I don't undertsand three of your choices. First, your number one favorite, Darth Revan. He was a very cool looking character, but other than that, he was pretty well emotionally empty. Personally, I think it's an odd choice. Your call though. Next are your 3rd and 5th least faves. Padme and Leia? Now that is preposterous. Padme was a strong, dedicated woman who stood up and fought for what she believed in. She, in my opinion, along with her mother, is the bravest character in the Star Wars series! It took a lot of courage for one to govern a planet at the tender age of 16, whilst the other sat by idly and watched her planet be destroyed. For those unintelligent decisions, my friend, you get -1 MC.

" Padme was a strong, dedicated woman who stood up and fought for what she believed in" which was obviously very tight outfits with lots of skin showing and bad hairdoos.

...besides that, R.R. Honestly, I thought she was a well thought-out and well-developed character. Why do you dislike Leia so? And perhaps you would like Chewie even more if you read about two of his more violent encounters...there was one particular show-down between him and a Sith Witch, in which the Sith lost. Know why? Because good ol' crazy Chewie rushed her and literally tore her arms right out of their sockets! How's that for initiative? Oh, and there was the other instance in which he protected Han from Boba Fett by smacking Fett with a haymaker punch. He hit him so hard, his helmet split in two, and Fett was left unconscious. Convinced yet?

Padme did move downward in my estimation after Episode III---the movement from strong (and, admittedly, highly attractive) leader to weepy, broken-hearted romantic was a bit much.
The scene when she tells Anakin that his love has blinded him was sappy but still well-acted and beautiful, but when she tells Anakin in the later scene "Hold me like you did on Naboo when there was only our love" ... that was the worst---so strained and unbelievable. And surely Lucas could have come up with a better expression of soul-rending despair than "Anakin, you're breaking my heart!"
That said, I do like the character of Padme---though not always Natalie Portman's portrayal of her.

Well-put, Master T. Padme is indeed an excellent character, but some scenes from Episode III did turn me off. Ah, well.

I put Revan as my favorite, because he was a skilled strategist, who defeated his traitorous, former, apprentice, was the scourge of the Republic and decimated the entire Republic fleet. Not to mention his finding the Star Forge, and reclaiming his rightful seat as the true Dark Lord of the Sith. (sadly some of this never happened, if you played KOTOR light side)
