I figure I'll make a thread for those who actually want to discuss potentially spoiling materials. As for me, I feel awfully spoiled just by perusing the Star Wars toy aisles (exploding General Grievous, anyone?).

Toy Spoilers for me on the shelves:
I was disappointed to see the Yoda on the back of this bird-like creature. I've tried to forget what it's called. I didn't want to see the new creatures yet! Or see Yoda on them!
OR i got the Grievous Unleashed and it had a horrible spoiler about his character on the back of the card.
Spoiler:
When he kills jedi he puts their lightsabers on his belt as trophies. AGH! It would have been so much cooler to see in the movie.

I already know mostly what happens in the movie because I read the book.

Grievous did that on the cartoon so it's not much of a spoiler.

Grievous did that on the cartoon so it's not much of a spoiler. Really? In the latest season? That is the one I haven't watched.

Yoda was riding something like a chocobo, and all of the sabers that Grievious has, he's gotten from dead jedi.

True, but the Clone Wars Volume II (available for download at lo-res at the Star Wars site) sets up the action of Episode III nicely. It gives a nice lead-in about Palpatine's capture. Volume 21Volume 22Volume 23Volume 24Volume 25ETA: Links to Clone Wars downloads

Well, the book Labyrinth of Evil, which is supposed to lead up to Ep3 starting, has a different version of how Palpatine was captured.
And if it makes you feel any better, Yoda doesn't ride any creatures in the movie...ok not exactly true, but not the big dragonfly. I've been noticing lots of stuff in the toys and books that must have been in the original script but didn't end up in the movie.

It was kinda similar. But there was a huge action sequence on a train with Mace & the Jedi trying to protect him from Grievous. The whole story is kinda different from the Clone Wars, people are in different places...I'd suggest reading it. I really liked it.

Glad they worked for ya, Phoenix:) It was definitely that second volume of Clone Wars that gave me a new respect for Shaak-Ti. Dang, did she ever kick some Grievous Bodyguard can.
