Great job on the prizes Superfly!
The wifey wants to play too. How many contestants does that give us all together? 8?

You're killing me here...that makes 7. I'm going to have to break out a second table...I didn't want to do that as one is specifically engineered to be nothing but an attacktix table and the other is a 'drop on top' attacktix table I made a few years back.
So we've got you, me, Chris, Steve, Stephen, Bobby, and your wife (by my count).

Hey, I've personally talked to most of you, but if I didn't - bring a lawnchair or something (I have a gazebo that seats 12 but...I'd hate to run out of chairs) and if you'd like to take a pause for the cause, bring a sidedish or snack or something. Not required, but I may rule in your favor in a match if you do ;D

So what is your favorite side dish? ;D Me and wifey are going to swap mini-munchkin between the two of us. So both of us are not going to be playing at the same time. If that makes it any easier.

I thought you were bringing the Often Imitated, Never Duplicated Famous Norris Family Recipe devilled eggs? No? ;D We're really easy here. I just got the foodstuffs and I have 24 hamburgers, mac and cheese (for the kiddies and the oldies), chips, 2x 2L Cherry Coke, 1x 2L Coke Classic, 1x 2L Vault, and a ton of Diet Coke as well as juice for the kids and anyone who prefers 'healthier' choices. So far YodaBreaker is bringing cookies or something, Chris's wife has some food allergies so they're bringing their own wholesome grublins, but that's all so far. I also have an announcement:Brett, the MAN, has graciously offered to give us prize support for this tournament as well as my 'unique' prizes. So, not ONLY will we have the listed prizes, there will be Tournament figures up for grabs. I am not sure what's coming from him, so when I get the package I will determine what shall be distributed for winning what. I don't have Chirpa, so no curling, but beyond that there may be Mega Matches (don't worry, I have ZOUNDS of megas but you can bring some...) or some other sidegame events.

Ahhhh, Turney prizes? Now I can get some seems how I got hosed on the whole Rebus Puzzle game. J/K Wouldn't it be cool if we see some T.F. Tournament figs?!?!?!?! And yes, the eggs shall make an appearance. Maybe more than we all would care for. Phewwwww!

Tourney may well be in my garage anyway, so it may not matter. Working on the logistics now of where and how.

Just finished reading the rules for NSSD. Sounds great! I think that sounds like more fun to play than anything else. I'll probably get my butt kicked at it, but hey, wouldn't be the first time. Man, I think a Bespin (Cloud City) board would be awesome. The one from the first Battlefront where you can enter into the Carbon Freezing Chamber. Ahh, that would be neat. Any word on what Brett sent?

Nope. I was a bit ashamed even asking him, but there was some clamor about it so I swallowed my pride and asked. He's truly a good friend and a hell of a guy to send some for my meager tourney.
I think, personally, that the Nar Shaddaa set is 10x more fun than the standard Attacktix fare, and virtually everyone who played on it agrees. Chris is the lone holdout (friggin accountants) who does like it, but not as much as the standard. When he rolls by we play 4-5 games on the standard, then 1-2 games NSS. He says it's really cool, but his eyes and body language tell a less enthusiastic story. Regardless, it's something new, and I think we'll all have a blast.
As for Bespin, I had ORIGINALLY planned on doing that! Great minds think alike, I suppose. Some technical issues prohibited me from building that, mainly because if I did it, I'd want it to be perfect to my mind's eye, and considering that I felt it to be very difficult to assemble and hardly portable, I decided to go this route. There is, however, an 'Ode' to Bespin, coincidentally, on the back of one of the buildings with a photo and caption "Come Visit Bespin, City In The Clouds".
Still no FOR SURE on Bobby, who would 'put it on his momma' that he'll be here, but I am still skeptical as with that dude, you never can tell if he'll be stuck somewhere, in jail, or whatever. ;D
YB is bringing some soda, chips, and cookies, so we're really rounding out the BBQ with some good junk food! ;D
