Just wanted to see how far people are traveling to get to Tixcon. I myself live about 3 states away, so I'm taking around 10 Hours.(With traffic, delays, accidents, Ect...)
--If all you mods think this should go somewhere else, by all means move it.

Are we talking about car rides only? What about air time?

Should be a 2-3 hour drive from where I'm at. Currently hoping to arrive at 11:00 so I can get my pre-negotiated trades done and perhaps do a few of those interviews I need for AttacktiCast before the real festivities start and all previous thoughts disappear into a cloud of shouts, controversy, and missile launches.

Well, we're a little over 700 miles away, but we have to make a detour and add some miles to the trip in order to pick up Annointed1 early Friday evening. So I'd say it's easily going to be over 10 hours for us, but we're actually driving just south of Chicago and spending the night Friday night before going the rest of the way Saturday morning.

I live in Chillicothe, but I am staying the night at Ben Kenobi's house and his dad is taking us up really early Saturday morning. So Ben lives about 15 to 20 minutes away dfrom me (he lives in Circleville) So the ride should take about 2 hours and 45 minutes to 3 hours.
We are leaving at 7:00 So we should arrive at about 10:00, or earlier.

MapQuest tells me 3 hours 35 minutes for the 215.08 mile trip from my house. I only have to leave PA then make my way across OH. I'm glad I don't have to cross multiple states!

Are we talking about car rides only? What about air time? Just car rides Well if we drove from Tampa it would be well over 10+ hours. But we're flying to visit my grandma in Dayton, then driving a couple of hours on Saturday just for the Tourney. I still voted for the 10+ hours though - that would be a horrible drive!

It's something you do not want to miss, even if that kinda stuff normally doesn't interest you. Supercool, and now endorsed by Superfly - can't lose! There's some great places to chow down up there as well - from the airport, head east on 70, then north on 75. It's like 2 exits, and take the Vandalia exit, head east 1 minute, and on the left side is a little sportsish (mostly a golfer hangout) pub/restaurant called Bunkers. Some of the best food in town, 10 minutes from the airport, and easy to get to and from...all you could ask for!

I really appreciate the advice - I haven't been to ohio in over 5 years so I had no idea where to eat. We will def be hitting "Bunkers" after our flight on Friday. I myself have been to the Air Force Museum. But maybe I can drag Joe to it since he's never been.
