Just a reminder to everyone, no one has to sign up early for the tournament to participate, but it would make it easier to prepare for if I know how many we'll have. I have posted our pricing as well.

Alright, if you haven't noticed, ToA is now being sponsored by CCGArmory.com. They will be providing prizes in addition to Hasbro providing the beloved Limited Edition Tournament Figures (T6 - T10). More details on the breakdown of the prizes to follow later.

Right now it looks like 1:00 or 2:00pm, but that may change with the amount people we end up having. I am planning on drawing up the schedule and brackets this weekend so i will have some more solid times then. So if you are thinking about comming please let me know.
Btw, all of the tournaments "line ups" or bracket placing will be decided at random.

The prizes are in!!
ToA 2006 will have a total of 17 limited edition tournament figures up for grabs.
We are changing the format of the event. It will now be $2 for anyone to get in. This will give you access to the following: 100 pt single elimination tournament (Prize: T6 Boba Fett) 5 mega tournament (Prize: Custom superflytnt turret) Door prizes (T6 Boba Fett & T8 Han Solo) Suprises from Webhead
Also We are changing the format of the "main event". Instead of 1 double elimination tournament we will be holding 2 single elimination tournaments and giving away 2 tournament sets (T6 - T10). Prizes for these tournaments will be: 1st place T6-T10. 2nd place T7 Luke. 3rd place T10 Stormtrooper. A $10 entry fee will get you into both of these tournaments.
We will still be having the pink slip tourney and the booster showdown. To enter the booster showdown, due to the lack of interest, please bring two unopened boosters from series 4.
More to follow.

- Win Webhead's Tix -
Tomorrow, in addition to the various main events, I'll be taking all challengers in a side event of "gunslinging". 1 on 1 single games, 100 point teams, 50 point back-ups, limit one Tournament figure, limit one of each Gold Based figure. Win the game, get a fig. I scoured my collection, and came up with a batch of 25 Chrome and Tournament figures to give out, so prizes are while supplies last. Each entrant will have the chance to win one figure randomly pulled from the prize box, though if you lose you can try again later time allowing. I'll have a small rotating pool of teams to pull from, and expect to have a lot of fun games. I shouldn't be to hard to find, I'll also have the Marvel figures on display for your viewing pleasure. If you have any questions, let me know. - Brett

Results:
Overall we see this as a great success. We had drawings for booster figs about every 10 minutes, wehead gave out a ton of chromes, he also was showing off some marvel stuff (very cool), and we had 6 events where prizes were won, so needless to say everyone came away with somthing. Heres the facts:
Grand Champion: Eric B Grand Runner-up: Superflytnt
Red Tournament: 1st Superflytnt 2nd Larry Kluck
Blue Tournament: 1st Eric B 2nd Larry Kluck
Ewok Curling (very fun/interesting game) Winner: Merryamartyr
Mega Tourney Winner: Merryamartyr
100 Point Tourney: Winner: Eric B
I will have a video soon, but we have allot of footage to go through, webhead will be posting some pics up on his site soon. ToA was a lot of fun and I would like to thank everyone who came for making it that way.

Guys, This was the BEST Attacktix EVENT (Not Tournament...it was oh so much more) I could have conceived of. There were a good number of entrants, as well as onlookers, and everything was laid out very well. I particularly liked the fact that there was a pace to it all, but not so fast that you had no time for a smoke or soda. There were CONSTANTLY things being given to you, either through the cool "Grab Bag" idea or through the "Gunslinging" that WebHead was doing. Incidentally, for a designer, he is phenomenal. For a PLAYER.....hmmm...my 5 year old whooped him ;D Everyone was REALLY friendly, and we met some new people (at least I did, like Merryamartyr's father, Larry, who gave me the best challenge I've ever had.) and had a tremendously fun time. I won 1st place in one tourney, but I brought my 5 year old daughter and my cranky, hungry, wife who made us leave before the 100pt tourney and Blue tourney had ended. All in all, everyone who missed this event (THIS MEANS YOU MALFORM, YA BIG WEENIE! ;D ) missed out oh-so-big-time.
Kudos, Aaron and Jon (and of course Brett)!
