I think it's 36"x36", I'll measure it later on and see what it is. We'll be playing on the Tournament Mats. I'm almost positive they're 3' square, but I have to double check.

BRACKETS and PRIZE AWARDS:
Brackets are Single Elimination. I am assuming 16 to show up, so here it is:
After all players are registered, I'm going to drop the numbers names in a hat and that will determine playing order and opponents for the first round Qualifiers. Those who win in the qualifiers will have the REF tally up the point values of their remaining figures and record them. When it gets down to the final 3, the person with the LEAST points of the 3 wins 3rd place and is done. The last two will battle it out and determine 1st/2nd.
Round 1 - Qualifiers: 1v2, 3v4, 5v6, 7v8, 8v9, 9v10 yada yada yada. One player may get a BYE on this round.
Round 2 - Quarterfinals: Winner of 1v2 Vs. Winner of 3v4 produce Semifinalist "A" Winner of 3v4 Vs. Winner of 5v6 produce Semifinalist "B"
At the end of the Quarterfinals, there will be 6 players left.
Round 3 - Semifinals: A vs. B C vs. D E vs. F
At the end of this round, only 3 will remain. At this point, whomever has the LEAST amount of points tallied by the referee will be awarded 3rd Place.
Final Round - FINALS: The two remaining players will play ONE match to determine who the Champion of the Galaxy is. At this point we will gather around the playing mat, give out awards, take some pictures, and decide if anyone wants to play some more matches for fun, pride, grudge/rematches, or whatever.
Anyone has any concerns, questions, yadayada let me know.

Do we have answers official or otherwise on how many gold figures allowed on a team?

Do we have answers official or otherwise on how many gold figures allowed on a team? I thought the general consensus on goldies was that they were basically a super common. Just because anyone could get as many as they wanted, being they arent in a blind pack or anything.... And there for, there was no limit, but superfly did make ther 5 figure limit rule.

Jeez Louise! Alrighty: There is NO limit, other than the 5-figure(exactly identical figures) limits, other than the standard 1-Tourney Prize figure. I will, out of fairness, not be bringing mine to play as only a select few of us have them as of yet. Gold figures are the same as chrome or black based figures, and hence have no 'special' limits. The PLAYFIELD is 36"x36", and I'm in the process of building 2 tabletops for the tourney, comprised of 3/16" Hardwood Sheating plywood, with a felt backing and an "Attacktix Battle Mat" 3M#77 Super Adhesived to the substrate. It's got a mortissed European hinge in the center so it's completely flat throughout the board. The board is 42"x42" square, and I may cut that down to 39" square, but this leaves room for "Defeated" and "Backups" areas. I may even spray paint these there, but all this extra work is making me hungry, so I may opt to forget it and grab a snack. Any other questions, please feel free to ask. I'm still trying to get a good head count, but if all my friends make it, all everyone elses friends make it, we're looking at 2 referees, 2 tables, and 1 hell of a good time with 16 people vying to be Champion Of The Galaxy!

Final thoughts and rule clarifications: > You may bring any COLOR bullets you want, as long as the size is correct for the figure. > The ACTUAL tournament portion of the event begins at 4:00 sharp, anyone showing up after that is probably OK, but once the 1st round of matches is over, you're out. Sorry! You may show up at any time after 2:30 to play, shoot the breeze, meet some new folks, or drink heavily, your call. Malform and I will be there earlier, and can be identified by our grey "Attacktix STAFF" T-shirts that are way too big. Registration will be in a corner, there will be a buxom young lady who will be giving you a number and taking your 5$. Closes at 4:30PM, and can't wait to play and meet everyone! TNT

The tournament was incredible! I learned a lot about Attacktix, and it was all very fun. It was cool to see how different all the teams and strategies were.
HUGE thanks goes to you, SuperflyTNT, for putting all the time and effort into organizing the tournament.

Especially for YOU notacomputer! You WON! N/P guys, I was glad to do it and glad you all came to enjoy it with me. It was a blast! My only complaint is that I had to cart so many devilled eggs home! Luckily Bobby ate half on the drive back...glad I wasn't in the car with him! Notacomputer please send me the info on your team, I think it was 5 K/A/M Golds, 2 Tion Medons, 2 Kit Fistos and the rest JediKnights, but I can't remember exactly. Thx!

I do think we should take a moment to salute the brave figures who sacrificed their limbs for this event:
1 Yoda 3 Kai Adi Mundi 1 Tusken Raider
Forgive me if I missed any, memorial service to follow.
