Hasbro has communicated that there will be an Attacktix Tournament at the San Diego Comic Con.
It will be a 100 point game, with 50 points in back-ups. No Megas. There will be five (5) age categories, with a silver tournament figure for the winners. Age categories NOT yet specified but you must stop by the booth to sign up. It will be first come - first serve with only 16 spots in each age category.

Like I've posted elsewhere, there were 2 age categories; kid-12 and 13-geriatric. If you didn't bring your own figures, they had some for loaners (the Hasbro guy told me that many of them "disappeared" so that might not be the case next time). In each of the 2 categories, there were 16 players, single elimination, 100 point games. The total width of the tables from player to player was about 30 inches (much less than the 5 foot table me and my buds play on). When you lost a round you were out of the tournament and they gave you a mystery silver figure (very cool). I wish I could tell you what happens when you win, but I only lost and left in shame. I'll be a winner some day...-Radar PS I always forget this part. The guy who won the Indianapolis C3 was there competing in the adult round, but I don't know how he did. www.hasbro.com/starwars/pl/page.news/newsID.10267D7B-D56F-E112-4CDD926540842152/default.cfmThis is Hasbro's more or less official report on the competition.
