Once people are able to form uniform regional tournaments we must have a National Championship for sure. No doubt. I think that the two class types of combat. 1) one class where the teams end up some what random, and 2) another class where you come in with your pre-set team and back ups....the winner of each (if a different person) can battle off at the end too...
Coolestshop.com would be happy to help coordinate any form of National Attacktix Championship and for sure we will be organizing one here in Eugene, Oregon and possibly Portland too...
please let us know if we can help...
maybe we could have championship belts/lightsabers that trade hands like in boxing and wrestling along with some sort of other award too:
100 weight 250 weight
could be fun...
either way we want to be a part of it and hope we can start a good thread here to get something going...
can't wait to blast you there!

We'd need to set up regional 'area leaders' to coordinate and a national council to work on the officiating and league rules and requirements. Also, if it's National, we'd need to have it someplace like Denver or Vegas that has cheap subsidized fares.
I could get press support through some of my resources, but we'd also need some Hasbro support as well.
There is already an Attacktix Resources Council that is voting on rules and amendments as this is written, and I'm sure we could help out in this endeavor.
Yeah, it's a cool idea, but Hasbro would really have to get behind it. We would need to have some info regarding that on the boosters and or starters to keep people informed. Many of the players are kids and don't go to on-line web forums for details. But if the info was on their boosters, starters, tournament/intergalactic packs, and on the Attacktix.com Website, it could happen.
There would need to be some specific tournament plans. Would there be local, city, state, regional, national, and world championships? Would you have to compete in each, or could you just arrive at regional and compete? Who gets to advance to the next level? Just the champions of each age division, or maybe the top 3?

GreyElephant, Malform and I would be delighted to help with the midwest area, and I know that there's YB, Warlordofmars, Defenderofnewparadron, and others locally that would be involved in regional semifinals and whatnot.
Let's get it going before the summertime turns to snows and really messes up travel plans!
I'd be happy to be a Southwest region representative. Phoenix is the main Southwest airlines hub with dirt cheap fares. Atomic Comics is the largest comic shop in the western US and they are always happy to have gaming. Their tables kinda suck, but that can be worked around.
