I contacted HASBRO and WOTC. Only Wizards has written me back so far. Not any good news yet.
Unfortunately Wizards of the Coast and the DCI doesn't sanction Attacktix tournaments. Although we [sic] although Hasbro/Wizards are essentially the same thing, Attacktix are manufactured by Hasbro and you will need to contact them with your request. Here is a link to Hasbro's Customer Service webpage - (http://hasbro.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/hasbro.cfg/php/enduser/entry.php).
Have a great day!

I don't understand why WOTC wouldn't sanction it. Attacktix is gonna be big. They could make profit from it.

Hey Joe,
I am not sure if this is of any value to this thread, but I found your link between Hasbro and Wizards and this email that I recently received kind of interesting.
Dear GameOutfitter.com Customer, We have just been informed by our distributor, Wizards of the Coast, that they will not be able to receive any Attacktix products from their parent company, Hasbro. As a result, we will be unable to sell this product and cannot fill your order. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this. We had really looked forward to carrying this exciting new product. We will contact you in the future should their be a change in the availability of Attacktix. Please let us know if we can do anything else for you. Kind regards, Staff GameOutfitter.com

What does the accounts receivables department have to do with tournament sponsoring? Maybe someone in their marketing department can be contacted and given some suggestions?

I am sorry,
The letter wasn't from Hasbro, and didn't have anything to do with Tournaments.
This probably wasn't the best place to post it.
I just thought that the information about Wizards not distributing the Attacktix line might be pertinate to the discussion.
Thats all. Sorry for any confusion.

Anyone that does get something going...please note that coolestshop.com is more then happy to offer up a nice shopping spree prize once some type of organized tournaments get going....forward any ideas or requests our way regarding that. Hasbro might not be down but we could find plenty of other sponsors to help make it a worthy event. Once it gets some steam behind it Hasbro will have to get involved but do we really need to wait for them to get one going to just get it going? We need to have some people step up and get this thing organized with some structure so that all tournaments can be semi-uniform and let the games begin after that...just work with local sponsors for all the regoinal trounaments and hit up a few other sponsors for the national final...
where....when...let's do this
