I usually use WD-40 to ease the friction between the two halves of my strikers. As for the vegetable oil, wouldn't it go rancid? How exactly does that work? Yeah, I'd think that any organic lubricant like that would start to make the figure smell funny after a while. Anyways, if you get too much on them, it's not a total waste. You could always make some stir-fry in your E WOK!!! ;D I amuse myself...

ROFL - Stir Fried Chirpa...with a Cheese Log-Ray on the side! ;D
You can also use a graphite lubricant (the powder) if you don't mind the grey staining. That stuff works REALLY well, especially in blasters.

How exactly does that work? lol You know, I never thought of that. ;D I have done it to several of my royal guards, and they work great.... I have not noticed any odd odors coming from my empire bag, so I guess all is well. Really theres very little oil being used, Just a drop or two at the waste joint. Its been several months sense I have done it, and I think they are still swinging smoothly (havent really used them in a while).

To be technical and thorough, I actually think it was yodabreaker that first came up with the wd40 idea... I have been using vegetable oil rather than WD... It seems to be more slick, although slightly harder to apply in the right places. Actually, Phoenix was the first one to post it on here. I just disseminated it through my striker repair tutorial

Has anyone tried the backwards attack? I flipped Luke's arms over his head, and now strike from behind-the-back. It's the only way I can get any kills with that figure. It's pretty powerful.

Yes...... This method was mentioned on the first page of this thread. It is a very effective way of attacking, and, as far as I've seen, the only real way to make that figure very useful.

This figure sounds like my S3 starter Vader who does not work, has anyone else had this problem?
