That looks like a good team to start out with. You've got your rushers with the Grievous Bodyguard and R2-Q5, you have your support with the three Gold Nute Gunrays, and you have your big guns with the Destroyer Droid and General Grievous. The only question left is whether you get S1 Grievous or S2 Starter Set Grievous. S1 gives you multiple attackbacks if he falls while S2 Starter Set has Rescue: If Opponent Has Jedi. It's really your choice here but both are good figures.

The Series 1 Bodyguard, if I remember correctly, had a very, very crappy striking style (I never actually owned one but a friend of mine has one), only ten speed, and its power is "Attackback: Grievous 38%".
The Series 2 Bodyguard fixed the striking problem in the original, has twelve speed, and its power is "Shootback: Droid Army 31%".
I'd personally stick with the Series 2 Bodyguard if possible because it is definitely the better of the two figures

U R Nuts! ;D S2 Grievous is 10x better than the S1 version as the S2 version gets up 50% of the time if an enemy jedi is in play. You're smoking some good stuff there, Superfly! At best it's a toss up between the two figures. However, with S1 Grievous you're always guaranteed that his special power can help you out, instead of hoping your opponent plays with Jedi. And that x2 Attackback is outstanding when it's combined with strikers instead of launchers. Also, the S2 Grievous striker almost always has a crappy swing, is easy to knock down, and only has a 69% vengeance power. Every tourney I've been in that I played against one he was a waste of points. The only thing that's wrong with his swing is that you've got to be careful not to let his left hand saber get in the way. Other than that all the ones I have are very strong strikers. And that "only" 69% Vengeance is the same as S2 Obi-Wan's Recover and I know how much you love his ratio That Vengeance is a Jedi killer right there. I agree his defense isn't the greatest, but that's the easiest thing in Attacktix to augment. For the same money, get another destroyer - he is hard to kill, has 2 shots, and has a 'get back up' power. only downside is 40 points, but I say it's well worth it. Someone already pointed it out, but it bears repeating - Destroyer Droids are hard to come by. When I had two of them I never played with them in a game - that's why I traded it to you! Two small bullets is still two small bullets. Again, good defense can be used to minimize their threat. And their 'get back up' power is hardly a ratio to count on. The Series 1 Bodyguard, if I remember correctly, had a very, very crappy striking style (I never actually owned one but a friend of mine has one), only ten speed, and its power is "Attackback: Grievous 38%". Depending on what kind of a Droid Army team you're using, this is sometimes actually the better option. If your team has several Grievous launchers and strikers, then both figures will benefit from the Attackback. My favorite power in all of Attacktix is Attackback for strikers. And as far as the striking power of the GBG goes, there's a certain way to strike with him that eliminates his tendency to bend and wobble.

I'd still take the S2 Grievous over the S1 90% of the time, for a number of reasons.

I knew I liked you, C! (Mrs. GE)
Register your own name- your comments that have sense to them confuse those of us used to your husband making lame remarks! ;D
MY faves are the droids too - but after the TF and Marvel line hit they're a bit underpowered. I used to like the destroyer, but not when you can have a 20 point Leia and a 20 point Luke as ST or Han as ST - two shots still, but not from the same spot AND you get 2 figures that can be killed vs. 1
