Every year or so I get out my collection of attacktix and every time I do no one has heard of this game. Each attacktix newbie to date starts with cynical scepticism and ends with the disappointment of falling in love a discontinued game. However I am over the hope of hasbro or any other corporation re-realizing the genius of attacktix and am going to enjoy mine while their springs last. I have recently gotten into board game development so I say all this to say is anyone going to any upcoming game conferences? If so lets bring our attacktix and take over (insert evil laugh here).
It is so funny to get on here and see this, as my main purpose of creating this account was to tell this story. Years ago I was active on this forum conversing about this game we all loved and trading my tix around with other players. I was I believe 17 at the time and I was able to attend the tixcon that was held in Toledo ohio. I drove from my home town with a couple of friends, and had the pleasure to meet the likes of Cona Cris and Superfly. I thought the community was so welcoming! Just recently I busted out the tix and started reminiscing. So I guess I was wondering, are any of you still out there and if you are would there be any interest in getting another convention going! I know the line is dead, but I know with more certainty that the love for this game still exists!

I was at that tournament as well, filmed the youtube vid of it (https://youtu.be/iaPBUCP2CL4). I ran one in Michigan and got very little response. We lost allot of money renting the place since we didn't have enough people come out. However I put no money into marketing which may have been the issue. I expect this is one of the issues, however I would defiantly be interested if someone wanted to organize something.
Hey all!.... First time I have logged in in a good while... Nice to see at least some sort of communication... Although it is nearly 3 months old at this point... Personally, I would so be up for a reunion match, but from the looks of things around here, I doubt much of a turn out could be expected.

Ya being separated will make it a bit hard, which is why I was suggesting at a con or something. But that didn't work for gencon at least. I am in Michigan. I know some of the old group had some people from Ohio.
I live in Kentucky and I would totally attend. I am 17 and just got back into attacktix. I have introduced them to many friends my age and they have all gotten hooked instantly. I am working on completing my collection, and would love to attend a tournament.
