Thanks! Had no idea these were coming out... If the price is right, like a dollar, I may be tempted, but I'm so darn busy, they'll probabaly sit around for quite some time before they get customized....

I believe they are too spankin new to be released yet. Look for them closer to the movies release.
You sould also modify your labels for the different Iron Man armors...
MARK I, II, III, etc.

Yes, you are right, new labels with MK I, II, etc. ... I've seen pictures of these on ebay. There are 5 figures. It is the War Machine figure that's really got me going! So if any one sees these in an actual store let me know... I just may come out of "semi-retirement" and run another IRON MAN custom give away in celebration of the new movie

I've seen some pics of the 7-11 Iron Man 2 strawtoppers - some interesting possibilities - - I'll try to get to a 7-11 in the next day or two - maybe, just maybe I'll run another Iron Man custom contest...

I'm interested in your customs! But perhaps not the contest.
How big are the 7-11 figs? It's cool that they have a Whiplash as he's not offered in the other small figure line. Do you think you can turn him into a striker?
I did a little hunting the other day for the small figs. 2 different dollar stores, a supermarket and a pharmacy - no luck yet.

The 7-11 figs vary a little, believe or not Whiplash is the biggest, I'd say just under 3 inches -(with a huge noggin for a head)! And yes, there's just enough room at the waist to get a small striker mech in. The biggest challenge will be making the whip and and arm solid enough to pull back on and strike with.
War Machine - beautiful - a shoulder mounted and wrist mounted blaster for him and suspend him up on a portion of the straw mounted to a Tix base and tethered with a monofilament fishing line for an "in flight" attack.
Iron Man MK VI - awesome - vapor trail - special plans for this.
Now, I just need the time...

I've got one gun on War Machine, now need to get the shoulder mounted blaster in place...
Still thinking about how best to split "Mickey Rourke" aka Whiplash in half at the waist - deciding if a dremel cutting wheel or a sharp utility blade will give the smoothest, neatest cut. This plastic is different than Tix plastic.
Ooh, and I'm just loving what Iron Man Mark VI will be for the attack mechanism...not to mention I hope to work the "you got my back, I got yours" in...

Ok, two guns on War machine now!! The shoulder mounted one is a little crowded but still pretty cool...wish I had more time, going at a snail's pace...

Time is on your side... no need to rush them.
If I run across any of the mini figs that started this thead I'll grab you some. In particular I'll get 3 or so of the "drones" as there are several versions in the movies. You can repaint and add different guns, special powers, etc. to set them each apart.

That would be fantastic!
I called Hasbro and they said the mini 3" figs went out to Distribution centers the middle of March and take about a month to hit retail store shelves. I even called back and they said they should be out in the stores soon. We'll see. Of course I want to wait to see if they go on sale or clearance.
Your absolutely right about the Drones, SFX. Cannon fodder is very much needed for Tony & Rhodey to "Shoot To Thrill" on. ;D Need more than Whiplash and Iron Monger to battle against.
I've done a tiny little bit of work on the A.I.M Agents. They've been lying around for months. I have not done a thing with M.O.D.O.K - these can be considered Iron Man enemies too.

Burger King will soon have some little figures in their kids meals. I read on a comic book site that the drone figure will "spin" - not sure what that means but a spin attack would be cool. I stopped into a local "Family Dollar" store looking for the Iron Man figures and they had a bunch of Marvel stuff, most of it in Attacktix scale - but no Iron Man
