This thread will be home base for the: JOE ATTACKTIX CUSTOM SERIES PROJECT: Series 1What is the JOE ATTACKTIX CUSTOM SERIES PROJECT? Since the future of new Attacktix figures seems bleak we are taking it upon ourselves to create a new series of custom figures that we all vote on and will consider tournament legal within our "circle" of players. How will this work? Any forum Member, with Positive Karma and having been a member since before November 2009, can come up with ONE figure they want to make. If this figure gets at least 3 *member votes "for" and less than 2 moderator votes "against" (to help prevent figures that are way too powerful) then it becomes a figure in our Joe Attacktix Series 1. (!!!) Figures must have a base size, power and percentage already in use, so a easy swap is capable. Name, class, and group, and point value can be changed with a front sticker. In addition, this thread will also be used to collaborate on figures. Have a figures you'd love to see but just can't think of a good special power? We'll help you out. When coming up with your crazy new creations try to think about not just who would be cool to see, but what figures might need an overhaul or what teams are suffering because they don't have that one key piece that will make them battle worthy. The second post in this thread will be used for the official list once a figure passes through the voting process. Here is a link to the Attacktix Wiki which should have information on most figures (base size, points, teams, special powers, special power ratios, etc.) attacktix.wikia.com/wiki/Main_PageLet's have some fun and come up with some cool new Attacktix!!

And to get the ball rolling here's my first entry:
CLONE TROOPER - (camouflage repaint of the Scout Trooper to represent the Episode III Kashyyyk Clone Troopers)
Universe Class: Republic Attacktix Class: Trooper Point Value: 10 Speed: 4 Base: Small Missile: Small Special Power: Attackback Figures Affected: Wookiee Universe Class Special Power Ratio: 15%
The Wookiee team has always suffered from the lack of 10pt. figures. This guy would attempt to correct that over site in a sense by having a Republic figure with a Wookiee friendly Special Power.
Well gang, what do you think?

SFX - love it. I second the motion.
Quick request: turning Tion Medon into a Bounty Hunter so they finally have a striker on their team. His ratio is 50%, not sure what the power should be. Suggestions? I will come back later and do better analysis, I have to run some errands right now.

I've got a Darth Vader to submit. I'm open to suggestions, especially on points. Darth Vader Base, legs, torso, head, and right arm of SW series 1 #32 Left arm from from SW series 1 #26. It has a medium base and can swing and shoot. BTW, the wiki is a great resource now that the hasbro site is down. attacktix.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

Perhaps 40 pts. [double attack + 70% special ratio] with some special power that affects one or more of the Jedi team to tie in with his attack on the Jedi Temple.

I just realized that in the rules thread it mentioned keeping the powers of the base being used. I guess I never noticed it (cut & paste from another thread) but I think I'd like to come up with different powers for the figures. Heck, the whole "gimmic" of my proposed figure is it's special power.
If home customizers are concerned about having to edit the bottom of the bases I can, (very cheeply) produce thin, vinyl decals that will cover the bases and will pre-cut holes in them for the wheel & SP ratio window.
Or if you don't want to go this route I could wip up a PDF or something with the new figures powers that players could use as a quick reference.

That's cool. I just thought the same base would keep it easy, but having the freedom to alter the powers would be good.
How do you guys feel about my Vader having a large base and being worth 50 points?

That's cool. I just thought the same base would keep it easy, but having the freedom to alter the powers would be good. How do you guys feel about my Vader having a large base and being worth 50 points? It can work both ways. If someone wants to try a new power or if they think it best (easiest) to use the existing power, it's all good. I'm not sure about the larger base and 50pt. cost. First, do we want to start venturing into the 50pt. area - then why not a 60pt, 70pt or even 5pt character. In my opinion we should stick with established point costs for "basic" figures. In my book 50pt. figures should be an entire new class of figures that exist somewhere between large based figures and megas (i.e. figures on speeder bikes, S.T.A.P.S.) Second, I think that this figure is already approaching way too powerful levels. The medium base should be there as it's only weekness.

For what it's worth, there were some 50 point standard figures in the pipeline...I believe the newest Optimus Prime was semi-spoiled as such.

So it looks like 50pts. might be an option. But I still think he might be too much of a monster with the larger base.

If you check my customs you'd find that I made both a swinging and shooting Vader (armor'd) and Mace Windu. Both work fantastic! 50 pts. is a must on these for they are a beast of a figure! I might even suggest we use 5 point increments to bump them to 55 pts. value. So is this going to be an organized fashion with suggestions and creations or ad lib?

I think semi-organized. If you have an full proposal just enter it for voting but if you want some suggestions we can chat about it. After you feel the all the chating and opinions have helped you should then "officially" post you figure proposal for voting.
I'm good with the 50pt. figures but think we should steer away from 5, 15, 25, 25, etc. figures. Nice round numbers will help us (hopefully) keep this simple.

You designed a figure, I put up some ideas, Yaggleberry sounds like he probably will fine tune his, but yeah, I'm surprised Grey Elephant, Webhead, and others haven't put any ideas down. I was really hoping that we could decide on a dozen figures or so.
