I have both Spiderman and X-men on DVD. All the episodes from every season. Every now and then we bust them out and have a marathon. Great stuff, I really enjoy them. I also have all of the animated show, The Tick. Does anyone remember that show? Funny! Sounds great! Please do tell where you came across the DVD sets? I saw a place called Agape, but these aren't licensed, so I'm a bit wary of the quality... The animated Tick was absolutely hilarious, there was even a short lived live TV show!

I have both Spiderman and X-men on DVD. All the episodes from every season. A friend of mine has them too. Great stuff. Are your's bootlegs also? I don't believe they've ever been officially released, unfortunately. I see the bootlegs for sale at the Pittsburgh Toy Conventions and Comicon and such, but I can never bring myself to buy them. Guess I'm just worried about the quality, since it seems that there's always 15 or more episodes crammed on a single disc.

Yeah, they're booties alright. The quality isn't exceptional, but acceptable. Nothing fancy.
I do wish they would come out with something official with documentry and extras. I would probably break down and buy it. But for now, this is good nuff.

There are some excellent group shots of the Weapon X team out now... Wolvie, Sabertooth, Gambit, Deadpool, chicky babe-not sure who she is. Yeah, yeah, Silver Foxy.

Did someone drop a quarter in that picture or something?
Also, it looks like we're getting Deadpool before his Weapon X treatment, seeing how he is not currently wearing his mask. Likely, this in turn means that he's not going to be his crazy Deapool self, unless they go for the angle of that being his original personality.

Well, the excitement is starting to build for this. (Wal-Mart has an X-men Origins: Wolverine little kiosk with all the action figs and what have you). I'm definetly going to try to get out and see this.

You did hear about the movie leaking onto the web, didn't you? Well this is something you'll enjoy watching.

7-11 put out 4 straws for the new Wolverine movie. There are Wolverine, Gambit, Blob, and Sabertooth. THey don't look very nice. I could only find this one image. They can be bought without a drink for $1.69 each. If they looked as nice as the Hulk or Iron man figures it might be worth it. I bought a couple last night, but ....I'm not impressed.

Are the cup designs any good, I hadn't checked?

We went to the midnight showing last night, and it was very very good. Many liberties were taken with the characters and their relationships & powers, but I'm sure we're all used to that by now. Deadpool had the absolute perfect attitude, and he really seemed to steal the show in all the scenes he was part of. Sarcastic, c0cky, obnoxious... perfect.

So I saw the trailer on the FCBD site and it seems cyclops is part of the film is that right? Is Mimic in there as well?

Some spoilers below
Wolverine freed them from the cages close to the end. Quicksilver was bound up and was bouncing all over the place. Toad was all slimy looking. Banshee was gagged. You can see them all and even some others whom I didn't recognize off the bat.
The movie was enjoyable. Here's some of my takes starting with the negatives first.
The ending was dumb and could have been played out better. How come in X2, Wolverine got shot in the head by the cop and by all means it looks as though the bullet goes straight into his head. In this movie he gets shot in the head by an adamantium bullet because that supposedly the only thing that can penetrate adamantium. Now how come the cops bullet had no problem getting through? Maybe he shot through the same hole that the adamantium bullet went through? How come that didn't screw with his memory then?
He's the best at what he does, but they never really get into why he is. There's no shots of him doing anything spectacular. You see Deadpool and Zero kicking butt, but you never really see much of Wolverine. That to me was silly.
How close did this movie stick to the original comic books? Dead pool shouldn't have so many powers. His teleporting comes from a device he wears on his belt. The healing he did get from Logan, but all the other powers I never heard of him having before. Was that just Hollywood'd up?
If they killed Wraith and only took his blood to be able to give Deadpool the ability to teleport, why didn't they just kill all the other mutants and take their blood? Seemed kinda silly to me. Maybe keeping them for test subjects for later experiments?
Gambit has an accent, Gambit has no accent. He was a weak character in the movie. For as much as I like the Cajun, I could've done without such poor acting. Give me someone who can pull off a Gambit and not this garbage.
The good stuff.
I loved that Wolverine and Sabertooth were brothers. That was a sweet surprise. I loved when they were in Nam and even though Logan didn't know what was going on, he still stood back to back with Sabertooth. I also loved when Deadpool was about to deliver the killing blow to Logan that Sabertooth came to the rescue. Those were both terrific shots.
I didn't know that the bladed in Wolverines hands were actually bones. That was neat to find out and made some sense I guess.
I pegged that the one girl was Silverfox! Whoo-Hoo! She was a hottie hot hottie!
Professor X at the end was a sweet surprise. Didn't see that one coming.
The Transformers trailer that was shown before the movie looked AMAZING! This is my most anticipated show of the summer. It can't come soon enough. So much to talk about with this movie. It truly looks as though the Autobots are going to get it handed to them in this one.

And some SPOILER talk from me as well... Okay, I guess I did miss Banshee and Toad, but somehow I did notice Quicksilver. The ending worked for me, but WTF with Deadpool. GE, when you said "Hollywood'd" you got it right. Deadpool wasn't supposed to have all of those powers. Also, he should have been scarred and deformed from early on because of his cancer treatments, however that would've made the story pretty convoluted for the average movie goer, so that can be forgiven. My explanation for Wraith being killed is because he was part of Sabretooth's team. Bolt (Bradley) got killed too, so that could lead us to believe that as far as the old Team X went, Sabretooth was taking no prisoners. This is of course presuming that Blob was either killed off screen, or was intended to be killed, and that Sabretooth would continue on to finish off Wolverine. I'm sure as long a Stryker got some of the DNA, he'd be just as happy, if not more, to have them dead as opposed to alive. Gambit was fine with me even though he didn't have a very Cajun feel. From what I know in the comics, I think the bone claws were finally revealed as the truth in the 90s comics and more thoroughly explained in the fairly recent Origin story line. I know when originally created, the claws weren't intended to be a body part, but just kinda evolved into that through different writers over time. Professor X was a nice surprise! The CGI on his face looked funny, but I guess it was necessary in order to adjust his age. Now the Transformers trailer... WE DIDN"T SEE IT!!!!! Not sure why, but the theater we saw the movie at didn't have Transformers in their preview line-up. Grrrrr. Maybe we'll just have to go see Wolverine again at a different theater.
