Comic-Con has come and gone in just a few short days, but with it came the trailer for Wolverine movie, due out May 1st, 2009. As all Comic-Con stuff does to me, this has made me very excited. Unfortunately, due to copyright policies, trailers only last on the web for about a day sometimes less, so I can't post a direct link to a trailer. However, if you click here, it will take you to a search page on youtube where hopefully there will be a trailer listed. Here's a link to a trailer location that's been up for awhile, so it may be able to stick it out. The quality is pretty bad since it was filmed by a video camera, but you get the basic idea. The basic premise of the movie is the development of the Weapon X Program, and Logan's story of how he becomes Wolverine. Other mutants in the movie are Silverfox, Agent Zero, Kestrel, Barnell, the Blob, Deadpool, and everybody's favorite ragin' Cajun, GAMBIT. There isn't much to put in the first post, but I'll update it as we get pictures, more info, and such. Oh, and I almost forgot, the Wikipedia article.

Wow, that was quick, it appears that all copies of the clip from comic-con are gone.

Ok, this is highly anticipated by me and my brood. ;D
Young Storm. Cool.
Young Logan with bone claws. Cool.
Gambit with cards & staff. Cool.
Ice looking chick. Cool. Who is she?
Sabertooth, looks much different. Not cool. (Perhaps in later years he further mutated, maybe exposed to Magneto's machine)?

I enjoyed Tyler Mane or whoever it was that was Creed in the first x-men, really looked the part. And don't forget the blob, who is in there in all his glory. I wonder if it is all a suit or vfx or both. I feel bad for the poor actor under all that.

I was a little taken back by Sabertooth as well. However, I am going to just have to keep reminding myself that this is supposed to be a younger version of him and not the one from X-men 1.Posted by attacktixman on Yesterday at 9:15pm Ice looking chick. Cool. Who is she? |
I am thinking that she is possibly Silver Fox.

When watching this, be sure to also check out the Hulk vs, Wolverine and Hulk vs. Thor animated clips, totally cool! Hulk vs. Thing was pretty good too, although I think that's been out already.
By the way, friend of mine told me that the animated X-Men from the 90's is on cable. Can anyone confirm this? That may be one of the best animated super heroes type show ever...

I am thinking that she is possibly Silver Fox.No thats Emma Frost, former leader of the Astonishing X-men turned baddie and now back on the good side...sorta Dont you guys read the comics? Silver fox is the brunette chick who is killed and Wolverine is shown holding her dead body. and I read somewhere that the actor for Blob wore a fat suit and FX were used to make it look even fatter

Thanks. Emma looked more icy than diamondy. I didn't keep up with comics much during the Silver Fox storyline...

Last I checked, it was being run on the "Toon Disney" channel, along with most other 90s Marvel toons (Spiderman, Hulk, Ironman). Reason being (short version), Disney bought Saban Entertainment Inc. in 2001. It's been a while since I last watched it, but it had been on in the evenings and in the mornings as part of a programming block called "Jetix". Awesome show. I have such fond memories of all of those 90s Marvel shows, but X-Men and Spiderman were always my favorites.

I have both Spiderman and X-men on DVD. All the episodes from every season.
Every now and then we bust them out and have a marathon. Great stuff, I really enjoy them.
I also have all of the animated show, The Tick. Does anyone remember that show? Funny!

I don't believe I've ever read a single X-Men comic. All my information comes from the internet or from watching cartoons.
