(pictures on page 4)
Well, I'm not sure what an Uruk-Hai is, but if it is about the Hobbit move, then it makes sense. SDCC is no longer just a comic book convention, in fact the new banners have a slogan "Celebrating the Popular Arts". SO lots of moves, tv shows, games, etc get a start here.

Also, in the last picture towards the center, there's a banner with a picture of an Uruk-Hai on it. Do you know what it's for? Are they pumping out the hype for The Hobbit movie already? Looks like Lurtz to me. Sideshow did a lot of the LotR high end stuff...I'm sure that is still a big seller for them. Since Lurtz was "born" in the LotR movies, I can't imagine he's in the Hobbit as well.

I'd bet you're right. Too bad, too, I'm more than ready to get excited for the Hobbit. 2011 can't come soon enough.

I'm more excited about the new John Carter, Warlord of Mars film due out soon. But, I've read the Hobbit about a million times and it is one of my alltime favorites, so I hope the movie lives up to it's expectations.

Radar, you're looking pretty friendly with that Dalek, is he an old associate?

Well, nobody pushed the exterminate button yet, so he was behaving himself pretty well. Oh, and I love watching Dr. Who. (oh, how I long for Dr. Who Attacktix ) I had 11 kids playing Attacktix on Friday, 22 on Saturday. I made a custom Attacktix hat. One kid brought a Beast with the base on backwards (weird). It was hard walking throught the Hasbro booth with so many people taking pictures of Iron Man. That blue girl was cute. I just realised that you can barely see the trophies, I'll upload a picture of them later today. Yeah, it was a blast. I can't wait to go back next year.

I thought I'd put up some more pictures (more on page 4). As promised, the trophies I had made up. That's me and "Peter" from Heroes, he was a popular guy causing significant traffic issues in the isles. Stargate was there again, this year promoting the next DVD release and the MMORPG game they have coming out. Sadly, this year they didn't have the gate you could walk through, that was kinda fun last year. Custom Mighty Muggs. There wasn't a lot of art that I enjoyed at the Con, (mostly I go there to meet people) but I really liked this painting.
