Finally, and this has no repercussions whatsoever but is simply an observation based on my recent reading of the "52" comic series, I find amusing that the Superman "S" in ionic's logo is upside down which is Kryptonian for "resurrection". Like I said, not at all a bad thing but just an amusing observation... And all this time I just thought it was visually more powerful It also throws it out of standard context and garners more attention that way. As for the Legion of Doom, I think the most recent roster would be from the Justice comic and is as follows: Legion of Doom roster * Bizarro #1 * Black Adam * Black Manta * Brainiac * Captain Cold * Cheetah * Clayface * Giganta * Gorilla Grodd * Lex Luthor * Metallo * Parasite * Poison Ivy * The Riddler * Scarecrow * Sinestro * Solomon Grundy * Toyman The Joker, Two-Face, and Doctor Sivana appear as well, but they are not part of the Legion. (from wikipedia) That doesn't mean other baddies couldn't be included as a best fit sort of deal either, it has happened before.

Ya, I know the Legion of Doom is not necessarily following the true DC lineup past or present. Heck, Wikia says LoD isn't even active anymore! We can try to come up with another more generic name for the line up we have under LoD &/or hope Mattel will come out with with more true LoD figs in the future. Its sort of like Hasbro putting Spider Man in a Spider Class but also an Avengers Class. Sure he did some stints with the Avengers, but I never think of him as an Avenger. But you have an excellent point, too much stretching of the DC universe. I say we save the LoD for future development, just two or three more true members such as Solomon Grundy, Sinestro or Bizarro would do the trick. In the mean time, I'll call the Class DC Villians and when we vote (or somehow decide) we can scrap the whole Class if we want. update 3:39 pm Stop the presses, forget the name of DC Villians, I just came across the answer to this little problem: Injustice Leaguesome of the Past & Present members: Lex Luthor Joker Penguin Cat Woman So our stretches would be Scarecrow & Harlequin. (Darkseid really doesn't fit into any of these, but some creative flexibilty should be OK). I knew this name was bugging me. And the Revenge Squad would be a perfect subset of this Class! Ionic, would you please do your icon magic for Injustice League, perfect antithesis for the JLA! Forget It! Injustice League uses the Hall of Doom too! Man, oh man, I love it when things come together! Check out this for more Injustice League info: en.dcdatabaseproject.com/Injustice_League

That would be good. Between the Injustice League or Injustice Gang or Society you have most major villians. The original Injustice Gang's membership consisted of: * Libra * Chronos * Mirror Master (Sam Scudder) * Poison Ivy * Scarecrow * Shadow Thief * Tattooed Man The subsequent incarnation of the team appeared in the "Rock of Ages" storyline of JLA (#10-15). Its members included: * Lex Luthor * Joker * Circe * Doctor Light (Arthur Light) * Mirror Master (Evan McCulloch) * Ocean Master * Jemm (from wikipedia) Empasis AddedThere was a version of them is the Justice League animated as well. Either way the Hall of Doom works and is pretty timeless, I mean who wouldn't want a hideout that looks like Darth Vader's head, and can travel through space and time ;D.

Man, I so should have looked up the Injustice Gang since they're one of my favorite teams in Vs. but it had completely slipped my mind. If you combine them with the Injustice League we can fit in... Penguin, Catwoman, Joker, Lex Luthor, and Scarecrow. If you wanna stretch, one could add Harley Quinn based simply off Joker being in there and then you can throw in Darkseid since he has links via the whole Legion of Doom thing in the JLA cartoon and simply because he should have a team (That, and give him a Sacrifice ability and it is insanely thematic). Only villain that doesn't fit from my research is Two-Face. That gives us a team with basically all the villains on it. Almost too good on the team balance side of things but who really cares ?

Wanna put Two-Face on Team Joker, expel him from IJL?
What name you guys want to use:
Injustice League,
Injustice Gang or
Injustice Society?

I'd vote against putting Two-Face on Team Joker. I'd even go against putting Penguin on Team Joker like I mentioned. I think that it should be kept as purely Joker, his themed henchman, and Harley Quinn. If you really want a second affiliation for him, Two-Face should go onto Gotham Knights since he, like Catwoman, has swapped sides and helped Batman on multiple occasions. As for the "Injustice" name, I'd go for "Injustice Gang" but that's just the one that my Vs. System dorkiness makes me most used to. Either that or Injustice League which makes more sense since its a nice reverse-JLA name. Of the two, I'd say Injustice League is the best choice. EDIT: Hold the phone! "On the cover of Justice League of America #13 (Vol.2), Two-Face is shown as a member of the new Injustice League." - WikipediaHowever, there is this little tidbit about that very cover... "It is notable that the alternate covers of the first issue of the arc, JLA 13, feature many more villains than were actually in the League, including [snipped for unneededness, no specific mentioning of Two-Face]" - WikipediaThe cover in question can be seen here. You can spot ol' Two-Face near Giganta's knee, two characters to the left of the guy on fire and just to the right of Captain Cold. So, unless someone here owns one of the comics with the Injustice League Unlimited and they'd like to tell us if Two-Face is ever actually seen in the league, we simply have a very weak possible connection. Still, it leaves open the possibility of putting Two-Face into the IJL. EDIT 2: Okay, a bit more surfing revealed that Two-Face apparently was a member of the Injustice League but only for a very short time. Source, very bottom of the page, second to last sentence.

Ok, I'm still pretty hung up on CatWoman. I think it might be best to attempt to use the movies and TV shows as a guide (IMO). I think putting Catwoman on the same side as Batman would confuse most people who play with the figures.
I liked the Arkham Asylum, but the Injustice names are good too. I'm not sure about "Injustice Gang", it makes them sound small and weak.

For my purposes, I'm treating Catwoman as a dual class Hero/Villain, as I think it adds a unique gameplay flavor to her.
I think the intent is for her to be a villain in this set...as each booster has a hero and a villain and Batman is obviously the villain in this case.
I might also add that Catwoman has had an on again off again relationship with the JLA, though never a member, she has fought with them at least twice in recent memory...once when she defeated Prometheus single handedly (since he had no files on her), and more recently she fought against the Secret Society (?) (Faust, Fluronic Man, Star Sapphire et al) at Batman's side while the leauge recovered....

Two-Face does not appear in the recent "legion of doom" team...I believe Joker, Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy are the only "bat villains" that are actually in the story. However, I think they leave the door open for him to participate in the future.
In this wave, the villains are mostly bat-centric...I'd lean towards an Arkham theme. Darkseid can head his own team, the key would be to give him a special that is more universal...

I think putting Catwoman on the same side as Batman would confuse most people who play with the figures. That would be fine, but in the various animated series and movie too, if I remember right, she was kind of coy about good gal bad gal depending on her whim, sometimes helping Bats and other times fighting him. She could be both IMO without any issues. I don't think the Joker head needs to be designated "Team Joker". Being the most iconic of the villainous of Gotham I would have no trouble having that icon identify a group called Gotham's Criminally Insane, or some such thing. As far as Darksied goes an Apokolips Faction could be a possibility, though as noted he will be the only one right now.

Wow. Gnarly awesome Apokolips logo, ionic. My vote would go towards calling that team Darkseid's Elite, though.
And I still vote simply for the "Arkham Inmates" name. Simple and to the point.
So, I'm just going to go ahead and collect and throw my ideas for the various teams out there. These are based just off the announced figures and not the possibilities of customs or future teams and whatnot:
Gotham Knights: Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Catwoman* Arkham Inmates: Joker, Penguin, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn JLA: Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, Superman, Batman Injustice League: Lex Luthor, Scarecrow, Joker, Penguin, Catwoman* Darkseid's Elite: Darkseid
*It's my opinion that Catwoman should be on no more than two teams so I pulled her off Arkham Inmates and put her on Injustice League to fill out the teams. She could really go either way.
That gives us four primary teams (JLA, Gotham Knights, Arkham Inmates, Injustice League) and all of them are about the same size. Then we have the start of a "mini-team" in Darkseid that could be expanded on later.
That's what I'm seeing, at least...

You guys are doing great. I love the icons, Ionic. My vote would go that Catwoman is in both factions as well. Wish I had more imput for ya, but honestly, I am not well versed on D.C. as I am Marvel. Well, unless you count cartoons.

Hey, go ahead and join in even with that, GE. My opinions are powered solely by the old 90's cartoons, a few films, the internet, and a card game. Sure, I've read a couple trade paperback collections (off-topic, but I highly recommend the Hush series, best Batman story ever) but I don't actively read DC comics.

More than anything I guess I am excited about us coming up with some possible "new powers" for these characters. I love the idea of us creating something along a whole new line of what Attacktix could have been. So I am pumped, I have been checking the stores to no avail of finding these figures. The Batman ones look impressive. I really like the Joker as well. Something about that giant tongue gun looks beyond fun to play with. I can envision knocking over a figure with the Joker and saying "gimme some tongue"!

And I still vote simply for the "Arkham Inmates" name. Simple and to the point. And not to be confused with Arkham Intimates either...
