A grappling hook would be ideal, but for some reason our Leia's hook had no effect on our ATAT. We couldn't get the hook to hook onto anything. BTW - We mounted the snowspeeder on a Gunship base, but intend on making it faster. It needs to be able to "buzz" around the ATAT, which currently moves 4 tix. Here's the fix - take a standard missile and get a piece of styrofoam. Cut the styrofoam to the same shape as the missile so it fits. Then cut some MORE to make a mold. Pour in some acrylic of any color OR some fast-set epoxy. Let it set for 3 days, and voila, you have a perfect shaped missile that fits standard 'tix guns, but you get the shape you want, be it a grappling hook or whatever. Worked for me! ;D Forgot to add - if you buff it with some scotch-brite or a 'SOS/Brillo Pad' you can get rid of the jaggies that stuck from the mold. Works GREAT. Sweet, I was doing research online to buy molding stuff, I will post the site here... but it has all kinds of mix and match colors, including CLEAR and Sparkly... that will make for some cool missiles! Let's see some pics, superfly!

I'll actually make a video as well showing how to mold things from epoxy as well.

Dang, even if that Slug Droid (Gah! How can such a Star Wars nerd as myself not remember the actual name?) doesn't work well in combat, it looks freaking awesome. Great work, Grizz.

Actual name is "Corporate Alliance Tank Droid". I picked the model up at Wal-Mart but I've also seen it online at Tower Hobbies. FYI-I changed the special on the bottom to "Put Grievous into play from your back-ups" Thanks for the compliments-Glad you liked it!

LOL - I was thinking of doing that one due to my penchant for the Droid Army! EXCELLENT work, man. I am currently trying to find a spider-droid to make, and when I do I'll post it.
VVERY nice job man!

I used an olive green drab for the main body some flat black some flat gray and a custom flat gray that i mixed up for the tracks. It cost about $12 at walmart..

Mmm...grizz make pretty droid that would be fun in Battlefront-style games Anyway, nicely done! Is there any way you could make the guns pivot up and down, perhaps by sticking a bit of a needle through the plastic of the model and the gun, then gluing a plastic washer of sorts to the very end of the needle within the body of the Tank Droid?

Actually they do pivot up and down it's just that the up and down movement is limited due to their proximity of the other guns. I pretty much did as you described I drilled a hole and put the handles of the guns through the holes then glued washers on the ends. I just didn't plain well as far as the other guns go but if the play testing dose not go well I will be making modifications.

Here is another pic showing the guns pivoted up and down. I should have done this last time. LOL
