Anyone else playing it?
Just finished the game, now I'm going to try some of the other characters.

I saw a commercial for this.... I think it may be the first ever PS2 game I buy. I bought a PS2 months ago real cheap... And its been sitting there collecting dust.

Xbox is SO easy to mod. I've done 20 now. It's 40$ well spent.

Im playing it on PSP and I love this game. I spend my lunch breaks playing it. The choice of characters is good, and the cast of villians is great. I recommend this game to any Marvel fan.

This is a great multiplayer game too. Joe and I play it whenever we have free time. So we're slowly advancing. It's fun!

Awesome game. My younger brother owns it, and the attention to comic detail is great, including many accurate alternate costumes, and the health and ability pickup system is much easier. I haven't played all the way through this because I wanted to save it for after I finish X-Men Legends 1 and 2 (I'm afraid with all the innovations it has that I might disdain the earlier games if I played them after, if that makes any sense. In order, they are still quite cool).

I like it. I own it on the Wii, but have yet to play it on this system. I rented it before I bought the Wii for the Playstation 2 and had a blast with my nephews playing it.
If i had some room to complain I would like to say that I really don't care for some of the Hero's that you can choose from. Mrs. Marvel..... why would I care to play as Mrs. Marvel?
Now a character that you could pass on that I have found to be awesome is Mr. Fantastic. This guy is freaking awesome! Something about propeller arms that just gets me smiling every time.

I seem to remember thinking there were some oversights on a couple characters that could have been in the game, but I can't remember who now. Was Hulk not in it? Granted, I'm not a big Hulk fan, but when I think Marvel he's one of the characters that instantly comes to mind. I think it's cool how some of the alternate costumes actually make the characters a different character entirely (technically, anyway). Cap's USAgent costume would technically make him a different hero, since he and USAgent aren't the same character, or like Thor and Beta-Ray Bill. Sure, it's mostly eye candy, but I still found it fun to mess around with the costumes...

No, Hulk was not in this game. I think he would have been a great addition though.

I got it for Christmas for the PS2, and I've been having a good time with it.
I read somewhere else on the 'net that the reason the Hulk and the Punisher weren't in it is that Marvel has licensed their characters exclusively to other video game companies (besides Activision). It's a shame, but I think that "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" has enough playable characters that we wouldn't miss a couple of the heavy hitters.
Still... *dreams of playing as Moon Knight*

I got it for the Wii, but I'm letting a friend borrow it right now. I hear there is a significantly larger amount of playable characters than the game first leads you to believe. Has anyone heard about secret unlock-able characters?
Update: I did a little web search looks like there are about 7 extra playable characters in the game.

My Son LOVES this game right now!!! He and 3 of his friends get together and all Kick butt! He found the 'cheat' online to open up the rest of the characters and some of them rock. Ghost Rider, Daredevil, and Blade are some of my favorite 'locked' characters. Hulk is missing and one that should definately be in there. Probably my son's only complaint about the game is that he isn't.
