I don't know if anyone else saw it, but when they aired the 2hr special from the SDCC, they revealed that the voice of Optimus Prime in the movie will be Peter Cullen! He is the same guy who did the voice of Prime in the original '80s cartoons.

I didn't see it announced at comic con, but I've read about it online a while ago. I think it was announced at least a week ago.

YEAH RIGHT. George Buffooney couldn't pull it off. I think it has to be someone with a strong voice, like the guy who plays Riker on Star Trek TNG. It's got to be commanding..
My first choice would be the guy who plays the Dad in "The Hills Have Eyes". That guy had a real man's voice.
Megatron should be James Earl Jones or

That sounds great! I was wondering who it would be and am impressed that they would go to lengths to do this. I am so reved up for this movie! I hope it dosen't let me down.  |
