Here in Rockford, IL, the only places that sell them are Toy-R-Us and Wal-Mart. All they stock are starter sets, series 1, with a few series 1 boosters, and some battle cases. Haven't seen any series 2 yet. And the boosters seem to be in few quantities. Always overstocked with starter sets. Haven't seen any megas in a while. So I think we are understocked here.

My Wal-Mart (the only place in town and the only town with a Wal-Mart for 90 miles) sold out 4 cases of Series 2 right off the bat. Then they ordered 2 or 3 more cases and those boosters are peg warmers. I've bought about 3 cases of Series 2. I had bought just over 2 cases of Series 1.
No Megas, no Battle Cases, no Battle Packs. Series 1 Starters and Series 2 Mace Starters finally sold out. Last time I was in (Friday), they had one Grievous Starter remaining. Some other people in town are buying them, but I'd say I'm the main one. I'll notice one or two boosters are gone between store visits. Or when Series 2 came out, there'd be one booster gone from the case and I'd buy the rest of the case. I'm probably buying 3 or 4 boosters to each one that other people buy.
Now that I'm pretty content with my squads and figures, I'm not really buying any more. Just chilling until Series 3 comes out. If Series 3 is released and there's still a bunch of Series 2 on the pegs, I might buy out the Series 2 boosters to get the Series 3 shipment in, then return them (unopened, unpeeked) and exchange them for the fresh Series 3 boosters.
Is that ethical?

I don't know exactly where in Indiana you live but in Brownsburg, K- Mart has the Megas and Walmart has the starters.
The series 2's are selling well here it seems. If there are some on a shelf they usually disappear pretty quick.

I don't know from ethical, but that's really clever. The end result would probably be them sitting on the same useless S2 boosters, but having sold a few cases of S3. Sounds like you'd be doing them a favor.
Here in Huntsville, we have like 6 Wal-marts. A few finally picked up S2 starters after sitting on endless S1 starter overstock (no idea what finally happened to it), but I have yet to see a S2 booster anywhere in town. Almost all of the remaining S1 boosters are peeked in/opened, and a mess. I can see why the toy managers would rather not deal with them if they don't have to.

Here in Orchard Park, NY we have series one and some two boosters selling like crazy. My local Walmart, Target, TRU, and K mart are selling attacktix ;D
The only thing is that my Walmart has the battle packs, all three starters and series 1 boosters but no series 2 boosters there or megas.
I got to see some kids fighting over to get the Starter Set or an AT RT and a booster at TRU.
Also this TRU is where I got my series 2 boosters

Here in Indy, Series 1 has been relegated to peg-rot status and between me and the two other Indy guys on the board here, we kept series 2 off of the shelf up until recently when we all got our fill.
Target seems to have the most regular supply of megas (all types). Battlecases abound, but for $19.99? They're $14.93 at WalMart (when you can find them).
Meijer has had it really bad - they have tons of Series 1 on the pegs and lots of Series 1 and Series 2 starters. They've never had megas. Lots of pilfering.
I'd say over all, things are moving in waves. Pilfering/opened boosters seem to hurt turnover because of reluctance to put out new product until the old/damaged stuff moves.
Toys-R-Us charges 8.99 for boosters and 12.99 for starters and megas, $2-3 more than Wal-mart and Meijer and $1-2 more than Target. K-Mart is similarly overpriced as well.

Well, since someone just posted I must as well, I originally thought Attacktix barely sold where I live but I ws wrong. When I went to a local TRU on their restocking day they quite a few boosters but when I returned a few days later they were all gone. Of course there were a ton of starters, Tourny packs were all gone and that's about it. Wal-Mart has nothing, a usual.

It's the same thing over here in Edmond, OK. Wal-Mart's got em, nothing new, Target has zip. This is beginning to get on my nerves...

Target has long been sold out (thanks to me! ;D), K-mart still has some boosters, and Toys-R-Us is starting to run very low on boosters, but still has Starters. Walmart which, around here, is normally packed with stuff, is actually starting to get rid of it all at a steady pace, even before they put reduced prices on them. KB seems to sell SW very well, TF does okay, but Marvel just sits there.
