I haven't used these in games yet, but I have some brief opinions on what I've pulled from boosters:
Electro--He's less unbalanced than I thought, so his defense rises above terrible, which is a mild surprise. Good little figure, he just can't compare to Greedo. Electro is team based, and the Sinister Syndicate just doesn't have quality figures to back him up. S4 Greedo on the other hand, supports other versions of himself well and with his great defense for a 10pt figure fits on generic teams better. S4 Greedo also has more support from his family, as you can take three or four Greedos, add a S4 starter Boba Fett or two, and some generic strikers like Kit Fisto and have a strong team. Can't really do that with Electro.
Elektra--Her strike is plenty strong enough for me, though mine has a tight arm, unlike some. 50% Attackback(Daredevil) is a great offensive power for a 10pt figure.
Punisher--He's okay, not great. He's a little unbalanced, and a little expensive for 30pts. I will say again that I dislike this figure intensely as a common, as this is a figure you should never use more than one of.
Beast--I love Beast, though one of my three is in dire need of WD-40. I'm glad that this was the "rare" I got multiples of. I have noticed his defense does have a bit of a flaw in that this figure is fairly unbalanced thanks to the big hand. A decent hit could wobble him enough that the weight of his hand will make him fall.
Spider Man(Avengers)--After hearing some bad things about Spider Man, this thing looks a little more solid than I expected.
Captain America--This figure seems both tremendously powerful and tremendously hard to use. He's probably the strongest offensive figure in the game, thanks to being able to both strike and have a ranged attack, and use both in the same turn. He also is incredibly difficult to keep alive, as he's the most dangerous figure on the table, and is unbalanced to the point where almost any missile hit should kill him. His special power does nothing until all of your figures other than Captain America are dead. Last Stand is thematically correct for Captain America, but is a bad fit for the figure. I'm not sure this figure is worth 40pts, but with his attacks, he couldn't have been any less.
Gambit--Believe it or not Gambit is my first regular Force Blast figure. I've been playing with Transformers and their fantastic Energy Blasts for a while, and recently got the Spider Man web launcher from a starter set, and that packs a decent punch. I've never had a Star Wars Force Blaster though. I have to say I'm not impressed. Couldn't kill The Thing at 5 tix.
The Thing--I haven't seen Hulk yet, but this is the most unkillable figure in the game after Super Optimus Prime. I don't really see him killing anything on a reliable basis.
Daredevil--His attack is easy to use and I see no problem killing things with it. He works fantastically with Electra, as his power supports her just as well as she supports him. I can't wait to get more of both of them.
Venom--Not really a good 30pt figure. Good defense, but is only going to kill one figure at a time, and his special power is bleh.
Magneto--By my early testing, his missile ranks up there with Grievous and Transformers energy blasts. His sculpt is interesting, and I'm curious to see how well he withstands enemy fire. I'm not really sure he's useable yet, as he really does need a 10pt figure he can eat.
Doctor Octopus--That does seem like a nice strike. I still hate the point cost and special power.
Spider Man(Pole)--Can't comment on this until I see his effect in a game situation.
