I am having a hard time getting him to fit snug onto the base......it doesnt seem like either one I have is in alignment......I can sort-of make the flier fit onto the base......
which brings me to this question......if the goblin gets shot and falls from the base(but the base remains firm on the floor) is he out? has this question been FAQ'd?

The ruling on Boba was actually HOUSE RULES: Q: If you knock over the human part of Boba Fett (10)(4) but not the base does it count as a kill or not? - Daniel G. , age 14 , Kansas A: I play that it does, but this goes down to house rules. Your opponent should always lock Boba back into his base tightly to avoid this situation, so we play that it was your opponent that did not secure him back properly which could cause this to happen and therefore they should not benefit from their neglect. The Green Goblin requires a bit of effort to snap him onto his base, use a little force - he won't snap... and he DEFINITELY will not fall over leaving the base behind.

Yeah, mine seems to be kind of loose on the base as well... It's almost to the point that if you life it up by the figure itself, the base would fall off.

I never had a problem with my Boba Fett but, yeah, my Green Goblin doesn't want to stay on his base.

My nephew just got a green goblin and is having the same problem. The glider is warped so it will not fit on the base right.

My nephew just got a green goblin and is having the same problem. The glider is warped so it will not fit on the base right. Mine has that problem too, but I don't think that it was unintended. I think the reason it is slightly curved is so that when you push down on the glider to attach it to the base, that bends it straight enough to fit into the slots. When it's fully inserted(and you let go of the glider), that curve makes the tabs push against the slots, which creates friction to keep it in. Think of it like holding a playing card on its edges, and flicking the playing card. When only minimal pressure is applied when holding the card, it will be knocked out of your hand, but when more pressure is used to secure the card, then it has a lower chance of being knocked out of your hand.

I agree completely. It doesn't just sit on, you have to force it into place so that it holds better.

I have to force mine on as well. Once done he fits just fine.

Same for me as above, it flexs a little and then is a nice snug fit.

After reading the advice above, I got my Green Goblin to fit into the cloud base nicely (I was afraid I'd break it if I forced it in before reading this). Now that he's been snapped in the cloud for a few days, he comes out and goes back in very easily.
I was afraid I'd have to play with it everytime I lifted him up to shoot, but leaving him snapped into the base seems to keep him in line (just like my braces did with my teeth!).
Thanks for the suggestions above!

For me, I have to bend the glider outward a bit so that when I slap him on the base, his pegs will fit in snugly. My wife still hates him, though, for how difficult it is to keep him affixed to his base when she goes to shoot with him.

Just put your index finger in between his legs on the base and push down on the middle of the craft. works everytime
