I was just wondering what would make a good series 3 starter. I was thinking since only Grimlock was the only dinobot in series 2 that the remaining 4 dinobots would make a great starter. Except for the fact they are all technically good guys, I think it would be a good fit. I'd like at least to see Swoop as an attacktix fig.

Out of the figures revealed so far, I'd like to see Jazz/Jetfire with Shockwave/Starscream in the S3 Starter.

If we're using figures already revealed, I'd go with Ironhide, Ironhide, Ironhide, and Ironhide. Kidding. Maybe.
I know he's S2, but Soundwave would be cool with Lazerbeak. I suppose that would mean we'd need Blaster in there too. I don't know who the other Autobot would be. Maybe Irohhide. Only because I really dig that figure.

Along the lines of the Dinobots, it would be neat to have a Soundwave with Rumble, Laserbeak, and Ravage (haven't seen Ravage yet though). Soundwave's special would of course be bring a Decepticon Trooper (or two) into play from your backups, (so that the cassette tapes eject out as Soundwave falls).

I'd like to get Laserbeak and Ironhide in my first booster. .... But we're talking about the Starter. Try reading the subject of the topic, it sometimes helps when you want to add to a conversation.  |

I'm thinking there should be two starter sets here they are
Autobot Starter=Jazz, Ironhide, Ratchet, Jazz Vehicle mode (my next custom)
Decepticon Starter= Nemesis Prime, Soundwave, Barricade, Balckout.

I want Manterror, Cheetor, Ratrap, and Optimus Primal...
But realistically... OP, Bumblebee, S2 Starscream, Soundwave. Why is that more realistic? It's all repaints... but I would definitly want to see my first choice.

I doubt we'll be seeing any more movie figures until the next movie and I doubt we'll be seeing any Beast Wars figures, we'd be more likely to see Animated TF figures.

I'm thinking he should have a force blast, but a medium size missile would do. Maybe his special could bring another Starscream into play from your back ups, implying that Stars blocked the incoming shot with Megatron. You know he would. |

I somehow missed this until now - but this is a great idea. Starscream holding Megatron and firing a big missile (like SOP big) is an absolute must for Series 3. The bringing Starscream into play from your back-ups special is a great idea as well. Someone holding Shockwave as a gun would be cool as well, and I'd love to see Blaster and his cassettes too. |

"Effect Droid Style" with 6 spaces, only one of which is GREEN, that recruits a Trooper.
50% transform
Grimlock - Robot Mode
30 Point Captain (Autobot)
Medium Base, Medium Missile, 6 Speed
37% Transform Grimlock Dino Mode
Jetfire - Robot
30 Point Warrior (Autobot)
Medium Base, Wing Attack Strike (similar to crumplezone), 8 Speed
50% Recruit Specialist (Autobot)
Shockwave - Robot
40 Point Leader (Autobot)
Large Base, G1 Megatron style Forceblast, 6 Speed
50% Recover (Specialist in play)
