Ray, that is a good point. Feel free to play anyway you like! I think they do it like that in Madden and the ProBowl! If you make it, let me know how you like it? I seriously might try to make one with those Gadders background you provided earlier, they were cool! I'll let you know. I am going to try and make one with the ceral box this weekend. -Ray

I have 3 large pieces of card board with holes in them. I just can't decide what to make with them. Any ideas?

How large are they? Make a Jawa Sandcrawler, you only need three sides. I thought I saw a picture of one on the www.gadders.com site, but now I can find it. Leave the holes in for windows, or blaster damage!

Leave the holes in for windows, or blaster damage! That would be the infamous "Land of the Jawas" Playset. Easily one of the more famous sets. You can find that entry udner Star Wars inserts on Gadders. -Ray

While thinking about the future Gunship, I thought about the Falcon. Then thought, well, the Falcon wouldn't really fit in with Tix as we know it. Then I thought What if you could shuttle figs between planet battles? Now bear with me, I don't have anything more than what I'm about to write below, so fill in the blanks as you will! (or tell me it sucks LOL)
Tix of the Fates A variant for those with lots of extra figs and/or friends
Basically, there will be multiple games going at once. Each game represents one planet. If there's only 2 players, section off the table or use different areas in the same room to prevent "interplanetary" fire. If you have a few friends, put each game in a different room to enhance the epic scale of the conflict. You will also need to choose teams.
Starting on the 3rd turn, any figure within 3 tix of it's starting side, and not in swipe range of an opponent, can spend an attack to be shuttled to another planet. Shuttled figs are deployed normally (w/in 2 tix of allied side) and are under the ally's control starting on their next turn Unless it's the last of your army, then you can control them during your ally's turn.
Victory would be determined by which team won the most planets. It could upset the point balance, but I thought it would be a neat idea for reinforcements. Since it's a quick game as is, you may need to limit turn movement and attacks.
For more wacky fun, play on the floor of each room and use furniture for terrain. You could set up on opposite sides of the room and do some long-range shooting!

This may not work with your idea but, it could be like Galactic coquest on Battlefront. If you are the only one on the planet you could get a bonus like one extraa attack or a respawn.

My group's first attempt at a scenario was a 2-on-2 match of "Capture the Emperor". Two tall tables on either side with a shorter coffee table perpendicular and between them (making the play area an 'H' pattern). In the center of the short table we placed the Emperor. The object was to get down to the Emperor by going to the edge of the larger table you started on, spend two clix to descend, and make base contact with the Emperor. You then affix the Emperor to the unit that contacted it, and attempt to get the fig back to its friendly table edge. It was quite fun!
