if I had to guess I would imagine that hasbro will have Sigma6 versions of the joes for attacktix. Namely because marketing wise it's a smart move. they are already pumping time and money into promoting that line, with the toon, and the new figs. so tha attacktix would be lumped into the same marketing package.
...As much as I would like to see a nightcreeper attacktix, and B.A.T.s that blow up when you hit them...

I am new to the forum, but plan to stick around now that I found it. I am a mod at www.JoeSightings.com & worked as Brandon Jerwa's Military adviser for the GI Joe comics. I don't know if that qualifies me as a mod or not, but if you still need one for the Joe section, I'd be willing to help.

Any and or all the Joes / Cobra could have a "the Big fist" (like Chew.) or "Spinning Back-kick" (like Obi from Ser. 2) you don't have to be a ninja to get in hand to hand. Zartan would be nice! with some type of "Morph Power" like Joes can't fire on him because he looks like Duke or somebody depending on a random clicker on top the base. Storm Shadow in the Jet Wing. Maybe Vehicles that held Figures and if the vehicle was destroyed the Figures could get out and fight depending on a random clicker on top the Vehicle, of course. You Know add something new to the game. And using the classic G.I. Joe form the 80's the way to go!

I would think that Zartan would have a Capture special - if he's knocked down he takes over the attacker (dopplegangers to their shape). As for Strikers, I'd think that the guy in Z's gang who had the chainsaw would be a prime suspect, as well as Lady Jaye with a staff like Darth Maul's, obviously Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow with swords, and Duke with a Punch or Obi-Wanesque kick. If anyone remembers the "Order Of Battle" comic set from the 80's, that would be a good place to start the speculation. As for Megas, I hope they FINALLY get with the public outcry and have cars/tanks that you put figures into, and when they're destroyed the guy pops out witha spring-loaded system and is killed, so that enemies and friendlies can hop back into it and use it again. I SO want to see a "Trouble Bubble" that flies like the Gunship, but a figure sits in. That would be so dope.

I would LOVE to be a mod, i know alot about G.I. joe, and would be happy to be a moderator. Dude, you haven't even been here a month and you're already wanting to become a mod?!? No offense but only the elite of the elite deserve to become moderators. I mean, I know a lot about Star Wars, SW Attacktix, and I'd love to be a mod but that doesn't mean I stand a chance at becoming a moderator for that forum. You, me, and half the people on this board aren't at the point where we could even be CONSIDERED for mod-ship let alone get the job. Not to mention you bumped a topic that has been dead for almost half a year so it seems obvious that if he needed a mod he would have gotten one by now. Sorry if I came off harshly because I really didn't mean to. It's just I have a thing about people who aren't ready to be mods wanting to and being mods.

wow...? ehhh grievous, the topic of this thread is "If you would like to become a moderator, please let me know. I do believe thats what attacktixguy guy has done. If larry hama (writer of original g.i.joe series in the eighties) joined this board and wanted to be a g.i.joe moderator the first day he was on, i would hope "newness" wouldnt prevent that from happening. Just a thought.

The original point was to find a mod, that's correct. However, first take into account that this topic was made in JULY. That's six months ago. If Joe needed a mod he would have one by now. Second, G.I. Joe Attacktix isn't even announced and this board has next to no traffic, meaning that there isn't even much of a need for a mod other than the supers and the admins.
Third, and the biggest one, the most important element of my post was not the fact that he was new but that he hadn't proven himself. Heck, as I said, three-quarters of the board (including myself) hasn't proven themselves worth being moderators. Larry Hama deserves to be a mod because he is the original creator of the franchise and would certainly be mature and well-respected enough to do the job. If someone instantly proved themselves within a month that they were incredibly mature, adept at handling conflicts, posted worthwhile thoughts, and are well-respected in that time then they deserve to be a mod. Not someone who is around my age who has been here a month and hasn't proven themselves yet.
A whole other example is there are people that DO deserve to be mods who aren't. The main one that stands out in my mind is Webhead. He's works for Hasbro on Attacktix, he's mature, handles conflicts, his posts are always great and well-thought out, and he's incredibly respected. Yet he's not a mod. Why do any of us deserve to be one when there are a few who deserve the honor so much more?
With that I bow out before I get in trouble for some reason by a mod for flaming when I'm not. I don't mean any disrespect when I post this but I've had troubles on old boards of people who shouldn't have been mods, being mods so it's a major stigma for me.

Mod does sound like fun, but yes, most of us do not show that we deserve to be mods. And since nobody has been picked, i would be mod if chosen.
