Hee...I'm guessing we can't have a proxy pick up a figure for us. Yeah, I second that motion! If someone is willing, I'll send over a fake moustache and some googly-eye glasses as a disguise!

Does anyone have any questions they want asked of the boys from Hasbro? When are you going to let us go online and vote for our favorite figures to be put into an All-Star Booster? Some people (like me) still want Yodas and Mauls without having to go to extremes to get them (and addtional Grievous', Bodyguards, and Armored Vaders are all nice).

An All-Star Starter Set!
I like that idea. And Hasbro could sell a ton of Yoda/Maul Starters!

They could sell Yoda, S1 Vader 16, Palpatine, Tarrful, Maul, and 2-saber Grievous for 40$ per set and they'd make a mint. Another idea would be a pack of 5 Jedi Knights or Battle Droids. I know YodaBreaker and Malform would cash in their 401Ks for those!

Now I loathe San Diego and conventions even more... or atleast now I actually have a reason to loathe San Diego. Why aren't there any conventions in the east?! On the bright side the three figs pictured seem to be all figs I have and ones my dad uses to kill me... so maybe getting better versions of them wouldn't be the best idea on my part. I'm still mad though!

Someone please be sure to take pictures of the Booth Babes as well as start a contest for "Photos of the geekiest geek (or geekette) in the Galaxy"... there's not much more funny than people who actually BELEIVE they are Jedi or Stormtroopers....more like Jar Jar. About 10 years or so back I went to a Star Trek convention as my friend wanted to go but didn't have a ride (and I don't know much about Star Trek)...that was undoubtedly the funniest stuff I've ever seen. The kind of stuff you CAN'T make up. There was a girl there dressed up like a Klingon War-Wench or whatever and I darn near soiled myself. I actually laughed so hard I fell down and hit my knee on a table. Back when I was 18 there were very few females I wouldn't "mate" with, but this one, even without the makeup and gear, NO WAY. Comedy at it's best.
My buddy went ahead and said what's up to her and she made a "Black Power" fist and said "Kuplah"....that's when I lost it.

Oh, yeah, I just bought a new camera yesterday, I'm ready for nerddom. Last year I was making a Jedi costume for a fan film (never finished...., but maybe one day) and I decided I might as well wear my Jedi costume to the Comic-Con. I did and I had girls (both costumed and not) constantly coming up to me wanting to take pictures, hugs, just talk. It was great, everybody was cool. I've considered wearing my jedi robes out in public,....but I don't think I would get the same response. As far as the booth babes go, I can not do that. It really causes me a great amount of distress with all these greasy men taking pictures and grabbing these girls. I look into their eyes and I see that they didn't realize nearly how objectified they would become. I can only presume that they need the money they are being paid and really have no desire to have a random guy grab them and have their buddy take a picture while smirking. I feel as though I should bring extra clothes to let them cover themselves. I've yet to see one of these girls that actually appeared that she enjoyed her work. I could go on, but until you look them in the eyes, I'm not sure you would really understand. Anyway, nerd pictures are coming, I will be in many of them.

LOL Nerd pictures it is. And BTW - I have worked about 40 trade shows in the past 15 years and a lot of the girls that are hired enjoy the work. They get 1500$ a DAY for 3 days and don't have to 'escort' or strip, which is a lot of their usual jobs. I can agree with the pics, that's why you take them from afar, with tact, not right in their face pointing 15 degrees down for a cleave-shot. Were Attaxticians, not Rebel Scum!
