Saw the movie today. Loved it! Narration at the beginning was a bit odd and out of place.
BTW- If you get any of those McDonalds Star Wars toys, you should look at making customs out of them. The would work EASILY to become an Attacktix fleet. Darth Vaders Tie Fighter and Lukes X-Wing are perfect. Just cut off the heads, do a little molding, attach a post on the bottom of the ship, attach that post to the base, attach a couple of guns, and there you have it. Easy as pie!

Ya, very strange narration! I particuliarly liked Assajj. Have you actually gotten any of these MickeyD's toys? As of yesterday, they didn't have them out or even a display, still the Spygear. My son and I are eyeing Wicket on Speeder, the Ewoks need all the help they can get!

YES! She was very wicked indeed. The super battle droids looked great as well. Have you actually gotten any of these MickeyD's toys? Yes, I got Darth Vader and Anakin's ships. They are both easy to convert to Attacktix with a little imagination. I could see epic battles with these.

OMG. McDonalds toys? Use Star Wars Action Fleet stuff to that end. I have 50-60 ships and they all are perfect for Attacktixing (see my old Slave-1).

I enjoyed the movie but it was definitely more cartoonish in feel than it was "official Lucas Star Wars film" in feel IYKWIM. I am hoping to see that McD's speeder bike for the Ewoks. Would be great if we could attacktify it. I think we should make them launch their heads. ROFL

I might actually try it! Bobble head attack! Hey Supes, considering it comes free with a Kid's meal, me being as frugal as I am and not having any Action Fleet (50-60?, ay, caramba!), I'm willing to give it a try.

Yes, free is always good. That's why I mentioned it. My daughter gets a happy meal about once a week.

Love the look of the movie. I thought the battles were a little heavy on the casualties for the young target audience. That Narration was a little "starship troopers" sounding. Odd. Thought we would see more of the clone officers as real people? They mostly just got their butts handed to them. Also most of the characters were very stiff just as in all of the last few starwars films. I expected more after seeing all the cartoon network clone wars stuff. But I took my 7 year old girl with me and she really liked it. I was fun to take my kid to see a starwars movie just like my Dad took me. I would give the film an "OK" rating. P.S. what happened to General Grievous. I thought he was going to be in it?

Wow George Lucas needs another cool billion to pay some more of that city hotel child support. I can't wait for the show that takes place between the second and the third one where Qua-Gon is in the afterlife and gives hints to a young jedi about the up coming clone wars. Oh Wait, I can't wait until the show where they show a young Han Solo's quest to build the Millennium Falcon. Oh How about a series about the solitude times of Yoda in the swamp, wow that's exciting. Starwars fans are so clingy to this series, they put it into a moving medium, people will pay cash money for it. Case closed.

Yeah I think the idea behind the narration, instead of the proper crawl, is for younger viewers who cannot necisarily read yet. I'd have preferred the old school crawl. Several characters, I think including General Grievous, were just seen momentarily in the introduction, and we'll probably see more of them in the TV series if that all comes together.

If this was aimed at little kids have I to agree that some of the scenes were a little over the top . The scene that stands out in my mind is where the clone runs at the super battle droid and it ends up picking up the clone and shooting him through the chest.

Anyone been watching the series? (we don't have cable or satellite anymore).
How's it going, pretty good?

I was going to ask the same thing actually. We've got cable, but it's not really on at a convenient time for us.

I love them! They are very enjoyable. There needs to be more separate episodes that involve more of the other characters, but other than that, it's been great. Last weeks was a blast because it was about a handful of clones protecting a base from some commando droids.
If you guys can catch these definitely do.
